A Corgi hiker

I love all- people

A few weeks ago, Taylor went on his first bush/forest hike (called tramp in New Zealand with an overnight stay at a Government-owned trampers hut.
Taylor just loved it despite the three-hours each way of walking/running over a track, and having to broach a fast flowing, freezing cold river.
So I have developed the idea and a group of people and their Corgis from the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club are going on a slightly longer hike near the end of September which will also include an overnight stay at another hiking area but with not such a flash hut to stay at. Should be lots of fun though. So far their are 10 people and six Corgis "booked" for the hike.
Have any members of this forum taken their Corgis on a long hike?
