Hi All,
I have been our of commission for the last three weeks so have not been able to respond to this wonderful group.

Toby asked where Greenies are manufactured and I wanted to tell you that they are made in a Mars plant in Kansas City, MO.

Greenies were reformulated to take out the chemical preservatives, BHA and BHT, easier to chew and sized for different weights of dogs, added chlorophyll for the breath. They are now bendable and are highly digestible. You do not want to give them more than one a day, they are for dental maintenance, not a treat treat.

Greenies are under the Nutro umbrella and Nutro PNS's are responsible for giving customers information on this product.

Lulu you mentioned that Consumer Reports had something to say about Greenies and you gave a link so people could read it but the link you gave was to Consumer Affairs.com which IS NOT Consumer Reports. Consumer Affairs is a separate entitiy that has lawyers involved who advertise on the sight that they will help you with a lawsuit if you feel that a product is bad.

Everyone has their own opinion for everything and I totally respect that. I try to do a lot of research on products to keep up on the latest developments, but Consumer Affairs is pretty negative. What about all the positive results that owners have had with Greenies and Nutro out of the millions of people who use this product.

Blue is being sued by Hill's for information on their packaging that Hill's thinks should be taken off because "supposedly" Blue has other organs, not the heads, feet and intestines that AFFCO defines as by-products.
