Several years ago we looked at the ingredients on the back of our dogs shampoo bottle and were amazed at all of the chemicals the shampoo contained. The sulfates and glycols in nearly ALL shampoo products are considered hazardous (these ingredients are even used in brake fluid and anti-freeze) and are used because they are cheap. Another fact is that pet products do not have to disclose all the shampoo ingredients, so many “so called” natural shampoo products are misleading at best (we list ALL our ingredients and challenge other companies to do the same).
We made it our goal to create safe, effective products for our three dogs without the need for chemicals, synthetics, artificial colors, fragrances or preservatives and they are environmentally friendly. Hence, Spa Diggity Dog was born.
As for us, we live in Orlando with three dogs (Delta, Chaneney and “46”), three cats (Pegasus, Suede and Cami), 2 rescued field rats (Hubert and Henri) and Lupe, an Indian ring-neck parrot.
