Off to a slow start

Today was a really busy day. It started off great with a car ride. We drove to a park I had never been to and met this strange dog, a Papillon, I ignored it but the folks are talking about something called adoption. Anyway we visited for about an hour and we were off again. This time we met people with Corgis and Tervurn?? They were all under a year old and I really like all of them. My people were impressed who lively I got all of a sudden. Then the guardian and I went in this pen with these sheep. I was really nervous and, well, I pooped and peed -- a lot. I didn't know what to do. The trainer lady said it was probably because I'd been reprimanded so many times for chasing the horses, cats and horses. Well, duh.. So now I'm allowed to chase things, even the cats, I don't think so. This is all very confusing. Have any of you guys gone into herding at a later age. I mean I'm 9 years old not 9 months like the puppies in the class. http://www.dogster.com/forums/post.php#
