	Has anyone in the Bay Area tried Sirius Puppy Training? It's pretty pricey, but it starts training much younger than when Petco/Petsmart starts their puppy training. Our first class is on 11/25. Ronin is doing pretty good so far. He sits, lays down, stays when he knows there's treats in store for him. Our biggest concern is teaching him bite inhibition. He's been a bit more nippy as he gets older. Any tips on that would be great.

	We took our puppy class at the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society with Nancy Frensley. They let you start at 8 weeks old, it was a lot of fun, and Nancy is a very excellent trainer. Plus, it is a lot cheaper than Sirius! For nipping, every time your puppy nips you, squeal in a very loud and high pitched voice, turn your back and cross your arms. This tells the puppy "ouch, that hurt!" and that you don't want to play with him when he does that. This is the same thing that his littermates did to him.

	Thanks for the recommendation! Unfortunately, it's a little late to get him out of the class and Berkeley is a little far for us to drive on a weekday evening, coming from Fremont. Well, Ronin's first class is today. Wish us luck!!!

	Hope Ronin's training is going well. We did a Sirius class in Berkeley when we first rescued Molly and she was about a year old and knew no commands. I can't comment on the puppy classes but their beginner class was pawsome. They are pricey though. Paul Klein was our insturcor and he is amazing! We also did a recall class at a dog park with him which I highly recommend. Might not be too convenienve since you are in Freemont but I he is doing some training at BravoPup (http://www.bravopup.com/) in Berkely and Oakland and is also available for private sessions should you need them. 	Thanks for the recommendations. We'll be halfway through the class this week. By the end, we'll see when we'll put him in Puppy II or any other class. So far, so good. Sirius is definitely on the pricey side, but I think it's worth it. It's nice that it's off-leash. Pups get to socialize as well as train with distractions. I'll try to update again.
