My mommy rescued me from the shelter in June 2007. I was listed as a hound mix. My golden eyes and light colored nose make me wonder if there is some vizsla in me. I'm too small to be purebred. I weigh between 20 - 25 lbs.

From what I can see in the photo, I don't see any vizsla, which doesn't mean there isn't any, just that I don't see any.

You have the red colour but also kinda stumnpy legs, the opposite of vizsla.

You only have one pic but looks maybe like basset hound / beagle?

It's hard to tell from the photo -- what color is his nose? If it matches his coat, there could be a little Viszla somewhere in his distant past, like a great-grandpa or something. He could also be part Redbone Coonhound. They are often confused with V's.
