My Wrinkles Smell !!!!

Help my mommie is about to wash my face off. I try to run and hide but she either catches me or finds me. Can someone help my mommie find a answer to our problem? She cleans my wrinkles 2 times a day with a wet wash-cloth that has dog shampoo on it (very little) then she wipes my wrinkles with baby wipes and then she dries them with a soft doggie towel. She does this 2 times a day it's driving me crazy and she still says I smell like someone's bottom. So from one Bulldog to another if one of ya'lls moms knows the cure please let mine know, all my love Ruby smile

Your mommy should try buying oxydex shampoo. She can buy it online. I get a bath every other week so I smell beautiful. In the winter its every few weeks. My skin is so soft and not itchy! I don't like baths but I will take them cause my mommy makes me! good luck!

Hi Ruby, I totally understand the cleaning of the wrinkles....my dad corners me to clean mine! My mom thinks that maybe your wrinkles are not drying throughly. My parents clean my wrinkles (and my butt too!) with sensitive skin baby wipes--they're not too wet and do a good job cleaning. Your mom can try cornstarch to help dry out the wrinkles too. Also if things don't get better you might want to check with your vet to make sure that you don't have a yeast infection that needs treatment. Good Luck!

Both Big Hank and I are white bulldogs and have sensative skin. My mom uses shampoo with oatmeal for sensative skin. And we get a bath every 2-3 weeks. Big Hank received some ointment from the vet. He had one wrinkle that was very sore. I think too that in the summer allergies make my eyes run more. thinking

Ruby, you should tell your mommy what my mommy does to keep me from being smelly.
After my mommy gives me a bath, she dusts some Gold Bond Powder in my wrinkles, on my butt and between my toes.
I love to be pampered too!
Tell your mommy to try it, it works on me and I used to be one stinky boy!

I know what you mean, my Mom and Dad have to corner me in the bathroom to clean my wrinkles and I absolutely hate it!! I snap and growl but they persist because they know that it is necessary to keep me healthy. My Mom uses a little hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball to wash them first then she applies Desitin ointment, yes the same kind that is used on babies bottoms!! This has zinc oxide and helps to form a water-proof barrier to moisture. Our vet recommended this and I also get a bath once a week with sensitive hypo-allergenic shampoo from Pet Nutrition Products.com.
