Number of pups in a litter?

	Does anyone know what the highest number of pups in a litter by a chocolate lab? My first litter was 13 puppies. All chocolate!

	I don't know the answer,but I would love to ask you a question. My family and I have been looking to add a lab to our family and when we looked into chocolate labs,they were $200.00 more dollars then black or yellow,and that was from true breeders of the breed. Is this normal practice,because I figured that black,yellow,chocolate, same dog diffrent colour. Thanks so much Liz

	I would like to respond to Liz.....I paid $350 for my Choco. Lab and her black and yellow siblings wre $250. I asked my breeder why that was and she said it's because there is a higher demand for Choco. She said this is because most labs are used for hunting and the choco's. (I guess) have a higher retrieving drive.......
