Hi everybody!
Decided to post a video clip to show what fun rafting is! Dad and I raft on the Delaware river every summer. Tuesday the temperature here in the Philadelphia area is suppossed to hit 81 degrees and we hopefully will get in the first trip of the season.

That's awesome, Smiley! I am going to go kayaking for the first time very soon...I was too little last summer because I was just a pup- only five months old. I'm a big enough girl now, though, and I can't wait to go!

Have fun rafting. Tuckie and I can't wait to hear all about it!big grin

We would love to try a kayak as they`re more manouverable than a raft. The problem is transportability. A raft can be deflated and packed upriver then launched which is how we get our raft upriver. Dad would have to somehow tow a kayak behind him on our hike upriver. We may try an inflateable kayak. We`ve used the raft for a few years now.

Darn! The original weather forecast didn`t hold up and our intended rafting day turned out cloudy and drizzly frown. But May is here,and serious rafting will soon be underway. Dad and I are headed down to VA for some backpacking in Shenandoah Park on Sun. We may post a video when we return!

Smiley, that's great! The temp is suppose to be around 70 here- pretty good, considering that just a few weeks ago it was really cold...we are going hiking today, and then I think momma's going to take out the kayak with my sister. What a beautiful day it is here! I can't wait for mom to finish that round bread thing so we can get out already...
