I am new here-just joined today!
My original name given to me was Butter. My original owners bought me from a pet store. When I was 3 mos old, my new owners answered a ad in the paper to purchase me. My orig owners were being deployed overseas and couldn't take me. So, when my new owners decided to purchase me. They brought me home. They were so happy to have me, but they thought the name Butter was stupid. When they received the AKC papers on me, they noticed that I came from a Kennel (Mom thinks a puppy mill more than likly) in South Dakota. So, she re-named me the respectable name of Dakota. So there you have it.

My real name was "Woody". While I was staying with my foster mom, she changed my name to "Wilson" after the movie Castaway with Tom Hanks. She said it was because I was a very good listener.
Today is my "Gotcha Day" party I have been living at my new "forever" home for two years and I will get to have a party today and my real birthday is next month..Woof Woof another party.
My "forever" Mom also calls me "Mr. Wilson"
