Come on, chase- me!

I am an only dog in my family, but I have 4 human cousins. I live in a nice neighborhood on a lake in New Hampshire, just north of the seacoast. My dad travels a lot; my mom takes care of me every day, but I sure get excited when dad comes home!
I have only met two other eskies since my people have had me, but I know that there are others out there!

Hello Eskies!
I might not be a purebred Eskie, I'm not sure, but I'm glad to be in the E.S.K.I.E.S. group! I live in New York right now, but my mommy had to move to Japan for a short while. I miss her, but I love my Grandma and I tolerate my cousin (who might also be part Spitz?!), Periwinkle. I have not yet met another Eskie, but since I don't like a lot of other dogs - I've only met one Aussie that I LOVED! - I would like to meet more one day. I think that our similar disposition might help us to be friends. Do any of you sit when another dog tries too hard to smell your behind? I do! Maybe I wasn't socialized enough as a pup, but mommy rescued me from a shelter and we'll never know for sure.
Anyway - hello! and nice to meet you!

Greetings, Yuki!
I prefer the company of cats, myself. I do have a little doggie friend across the street, but I typically stay away from other dogs. If I am walked and another dog runs up to me, I want mom or dad to pick me up.
I did meet two smaller eskies on the beach one day; I didn't know what to do so I started digging a hole, and they did too!
Sorry to hear about your mom being away. It must be interesting to live in Japan; I'm sure you'll have a happy reunion when she comes back home.

I will send a bark out on behalf of Aloha and Boolynn as well! We like that, so far, our group is pretty small because we don't like crowds very much! smile In our family, we have 5 dogs...yes, my mom is the crazy dog lady! smile Actually, I started this whole thing when I came to live with them. Then, Mom and Dad decided I needed a playmate and Aloha came to live with us. Then, before Mom and Dad knew it, Aloha and I fell madly in love (for about 1 week) and while Mom and Dad were on their honeymoon in Hawaii, along came Boolynn (and 4 other pups!). Mom and Dad just couldn't part with Boo-ditty, so she stayed on with us. Then, there is Jackson, Mom's chihuahua - he's OK - and Cash, who is actually mine and Aloha's granddog! (He's a little bit of a handful for all of us!) Remember that litter of pups who was born while Mom and Dad were in Hawaii...yep! Cash's mom was a female from that bunch. We live in a nice neighborhood in Fort Madison, Iowa. There are lots of dogs in our neighborhood, but we have to be really careful because our neighbors are Yard Nazi's - God forbid we tread off the sidewalk! Our dad works full time, and as my mom just graduated with her Master's Degree, she is taking some time off and hanging out with us this summer...hence why we're having so much fun on Dogster! There are at least 2 other Eskies in our neighborhood that we know off - but one is strictly an outside dog, and one is strictly an inside dog. The outside dog doesn't leave his pen, and the inside dog is so immacuately groomed that Mom is afraid to get us too close...might corrupt him/her! smile We love to go to our grandparent's farm on the weekends where we can run and play - and pee and poop on anything we want to! Oh yeah, and we can dig and swim and chew on dead stuff...Mom and Dad hate when we do that but there is nothing better than getting stinky! Well, it is good to have met you Kota, Yuki, Casper and Joey!

Welcome to your whole family! I wish there were other Eskies in our neighborhood. My mom got excited one day when she saw a white hairball down the road, until she realized it blew there from our yard when she was brushing me outside. It sure sounds nice to go to the farm; I like to go see my horsie "sister" ( I think she's adopted) because I like to smell the poop.

Hello - I'm Abby. I was living in a rescue home when my mom found me. Boy was I glad to get out of that place - not that it was bad, but I was hoping for a forever place to live. Lucky for me, my forever mom came along. I've been with her now for over 2 years. I have a big backyard, we go on walks, I get to go for rides in the car, and I have a family of cats for roommates. Life's great!

Hi! I am the oldest of the two doggies in my family (and the prettiest though don't tell Kira I said that.) Mommy fell in love with me on Valentines Day when Daddy took her to come see me and my siblings to cheer her up. I'm only 3/4 Eski, (all the lovableness of my breed but without being irritating like Kira!) but Mommy fell so in love with my breed that when it was decided to get me a puppy of my own, Mommy absolutely wanted another Eski. After months of us all searching we found Kira. She is my best friend (most of the time. Sometimes she steals Mommies lap and then I don't like her). Hope to get to know all of you better!

I'm the Eskie that started it all for my mom! I was born under her bed on Labor Day weekend in suburban Chicago. Some years (and a different Dad) later, Mom adopted my brother Max (who'll be here shortly, I'm sure!) who was just a complete wild Indian. And then a few years later, we took in Gold. So I guess I'm the middle brother of the Eskie group in our pack but I'm still Momma's special boy.

Hey, who let that Bogey dog in here?! MY FORUM!! MINE! ALL MINE! Okay, I should calm down before Mom swats my butt but I just really want everything and everywhere I go to be all mine! At least Bogey and Gold know who's boss in our house. Here, as long as I can run around with a tennis ball, we'll get along just fine, I'm sure!

Yeah, yeah - I'm old and I'm slow but I'm adorable as all get-out. If you forget to pay attention to me, I'll sit up & beg without being asked just to get your attention. I don't really care about toys or bones (my teeth aren't doing too well) but I'll still growl at Bogey sometimes. It's tough being the newest pooch and Bogey's the easiest one to knock down in the pack order. Grrrr!
