Just an update...ok, a long story..well it seems the twofers are great at changing plans. Mrs. Winnie/Chester's (http://www.catster.com/cats/420129) mom flew into RDU to ride with our mom on the journey....they were going to Winston on Friday, instead they went on Thurs. night...and then went and had breaky with Teddy R's (http://www.catster.com/cats/608747) mom...then they headed on to Hickory NC where they hooked up with Mr. Teal'c's pops and transferred the precious cargo (http://www.catster.com/cats/980558) for her long journey (she had already traveled about 3 1/2 hours)...

Now if anypurr is interested there are diary entries along the way and Mrs. Nuk's mom made a neat map on Gabby's new page that shows her travels.

After picking up Gabby the twofers headed north, but they decided since Mrs. Chester's mom had not seen Mayberry they would cut thru there. So they took the "scenic" route. All along Gabby just purred and slept...then about half way to Baltimore they took a vote and decided she need some lap time, which she enjoyed greatly making biscuits on Mrs. Chester's moms arm. They arrived after many giggles and laughs at Mrs. O'Malley/Aldo's (http://www.catster.com/cats/797385) and crews meowmy's home where they spent the night. They got to visit with most all the furrrs and then all three meowmy's got up early and left for Bethlehem Pa to deliver Gabby to her new home. When they arrived, well Gabby just made herself at home, explored introduced herself to her new sisfur Sweets (who was a little leary but no fighting) and then she searched out her new big brofur who was hanging out under the bed...she played mousie a bit and then took a nice nap...after our meowmy and the delivery crew left..Mrs. Gabby's new mom took more pics and added to her page along with the ones our meowmy had taken on the road..

It feels good to know she is happy and she is also helping her new mom get over the sudden unexpected death of young Taag.

What a pawsome adventure they had, and my brofur Pooh, Chester and Winnie, and Nuk and Sweets, and Squeaky have all got diary tidbits about the adventure.

If a special cat (or cats) need transport west coast area... I visit there often, Washington state,(not DC) northern Idaho, and Montana at times. Hmm, speaking of Montana, I do need to go to Great Falls..... We have space for furry kritters if any need a ride, let us know. I was reading some of the other posts, wonderful people out there.

Lancaster South Carolina... looking for transport. Our Aunt Debbie wants to adopt Smudge. ^~~^ She's willing to go as far as the Greenville/Spartenburg area, but if there's someone in that area willing to bring him closer, it would be very appreciated. Also, hoping there's someone who can get him towards Greenville/Spartenburg... mol! We're so excited!!

Mommy has to be in NC the furst week of June. If nothing else gets worked out to transport Smudge prior to that, mommy might be able to arrange for a day of travel to transport. Mommy will be in Greensboro, NC, if Smudge can make it close to that area.

Greenville, SC is approximately 3.5 hours driving from Farner, TN. I will ask Cat if that is something she can do... pawsibly as part of the roadtrip to Jacksonville, FL.
