 | |  | | Does any pug pawrent out there have any experience with Legg Perthes Disease?
My Winnie was just diagnosed with it, along with a disc problem that was untreated. She also was most likely shot by a BB gun in her past ( there is a BB under her skin on her side) and had distemper in her past (she has a little problem with her nose being cracked and bits falling off). This poor girl had a rough past life and now we are taking care of all the issues she was most likely dumped for. How anyone could do this to a dog is beyond me. 
So anyway, we are facing surgery to correct the Legg Perthes and we are wondering if anyone else has gone through it. We have found out that it is a pretty successful surgery, but we are worried about recovery mostly.
