 | |  | | We have one cat who was here when Major arrived. Major and the cat aren't best friends, but they're buddies. They chase each other, although Major does the most aggressive taunting. Occasionally, they'll snuggle or rub noses, but rarely. Major is very jealous of the cat and if the kitty climbs on my lap, Major tries to join him (and in the process smothers me). But puppy is never aggressive in these situations. He only gets a little too aggressive when they're playing and he'll pounce on the cat. I don't think he realizes how big he is, but when the cat hisses, it scares the dog and he becomes a sissy boy and runs off.
Overall, it is a very good relationship and they do get lonely when they can't find one another. I think it's a matter of introducing the kitties to Aussies when they're young.
I do have to say, though, that there's a cat outside that drives Major nuts. If I say "Go get the cat" he runs outside and barks. I think he thinks our kitty is another dog.  |  |  | |  |
