	This is an interesting topic. My parents are very particular about what I eat and what treats I am allowed to have because of my Epilepsy, they read that I could be sensitive to certain preservatives (BHA and BHT). I eat Iam's chunks and usually get milk bones treats but recently mom bought some treats at Trader Joe's and they are pretty yummy too. I get my medication mixed in Iam's wet food, we call it "medicine food" and I think it's great!! I love fruit and veggies as snacks, especially carrots, apples, bananas, green beans, broccoli, asparagus, peanut butter, and yogurt. Mommy says I eat healthier than she does. They also add fish oil to my food to help with dry skin and dandruff. I want my mommy to try the cored out apple treat, I only get pieces!!

	The apple idea sounds great! Especially with the peanut butter, I LOVE peanut butter! Well, mom feeds me Canidae and Natural Balance, alternating as I finish a bag. I started out on Flint River Ranch, which I liked and is a great food, but it was hard to find here, so we switched. Once I started Canidae, my coat improved dramatically--much shinier and less shedding! Then there is the occasional can of wet food. For treats we (me and sis Kiko) get home-made dog biscuits (thanks mom!) and PCI's 100% Natural Chicken Nibbles, plus an occasional bully stick. Our water is filtered from the faucet, and changed every other day. Mom gives us pineapple juice as she read it will help some dogs stop eating poo (why is this a problem, mom?), and we also get a carob-flavored skin and coat supplement by Premium. It helps stop the shedding too. Mom has been thinking of trying a raw diet, just because she wants to feed us the best that she can. So far I have been pretty happy with everything! We get carrots sometimes, a bit of cheese now and then, nibbles of bread, and the best of all--pizza crust!! Edited by author Mon May 8, '06 9:04pm PST

	We had pizza crust tonight!!! Yum, it is one of our favorite treats!! Seamus, your diet sounds pretty good too. We are lucky to have super MOMS who go the extra mile for us!
