|Add salt to the borax and put it everywhere - carpets, especially near baseboards, mattresses, under the bed, etc. Leave it several days then vacuum, vacuum, vacuum with a flea collar in the vac bag - do not put one on the animals. Cedarcide from a company in Texas. Spray everything with it, particularly things like upholstery and mattresses. I do not spray my dogs with it - Moira is an allergy baby and Lily is sensitive to smells. Wash everything that isn't nailed down in hot water and dry thoroughly. We had fleas in July 2011 and July 2012, but not a one this year - so far, knock on wood. Frontline Plus for Lily and Vectra D for Moira. Vectra has a C for cats, too. Vectra is more expensive than Frontline, but FL didn't work for Moira and she's the one with a flea allergy.
