I have a westie who have just been diagnosed with lyphoma. Due to her age we are not putting her through chemeo so the only option left is to make her as comfortable as possible. I would like to talk to people who either are on the same boat or had the experience so I can prepare myself for these sad phase.

My Cinder was 10 when she was diagnosed with diabetes. After 10 years of being a great dog and still in "good" health, My obligation to her was to care for her. We changed her diet and gave insulin shots daily. She lasted almost a year until it got the best of her. That was a hard time, I am glad I was able to give her a good last year. We miss her terribly. We are here for you if you need someone.
