Hi guys,

This is my 8 week old Pomeranian puppy Butters! Hes super cute and was born to a wolf sable mother and orange father. Could you tell me what his exact colour is and what colour will he be in he future? Do you know if his black nose colour will stay? His undercoat and roots are cream. What a beauty! I would say he's a cream or wolf sable but I'm no expert. Whether or not he will stay that color is anther story. Poms change alot in the first year.

Cam

To me he looks cream or orange sable. He may end up wolf sable. After the "Pom Uglies" Stage you should be able to tell what color he's going to be. Cam had a super black muzzle which lightened up but its still there. He was a heavy orange sable parti, he lightened up a lot now he has white on his muzzle which he didn't have as a pup.

This is how Cam looked as a pup he is an Orange Sable Parti. As you can see most of his black on his body and muzzle is gone:

Prince

In that picture he appears to be more cream sable, possibly orange sable. He could change a lot over the next few months. Prince was a dark Orange sable and has lightended up a lot.

A true Wolf Sable with have absolutely no orange in it's coat. Either way, he's a beauty!!

With regards to his black nose, it could lighten up a bit or lessen. Prince had a black muzzle as a young pup too but it's not as much now he's 9 months.
