Hi all!

My husband and I are getting ready to bring home a 6-year-old Papillon. We currently have a 1 year 4 month old spayed female Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

Our new addition is un-neutered. We are planning on getting him neutered. Do you guys suggest we wait for the guy to settle into our house first and then schedule the surgery? Or just do it ASAP?

A little about him: He's been with the same owner/shower for 6-years so I'm expecting some separation anxiety. He is also a AKC/UKC champion, just retired a year or two ago.

Any thoughts/input would be awesome!

That is so exciting! I actually have a 4 year old papillon and a 10 year old corgi, both of which i've had since they were puppies. they are awesome breeds!!! Papillons tend to get SUPER attached to one person so there should definitely be some separation anxiety, but I'm sure that pretty soon that dog will absolutely fall in love you. Congratulations!
