I've noticed that Dogster has a page for the Sof t Coated Wheaten Terrier and the Wheaten Terrier.
I'm pretty sure that its the same dog breed! Am I wrong?

((P.S. I would put this in a breed specific forum, but I don't think I will get much feedback there!! Thanks!))

I don't think there is a difference but I'm not too knowledgeable with Terriers or Wheatens. I think Americans are just lazy and often drop the Soft Coated so they put them both up there so make everyone happy?

AFAIK Wheaten, Wheaten Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is all the same. People have dropped the "Soft Coated" as it isn't really necessary. It would be like some one calling a Kerry Blue Terrier just a Kerry Terrier. As it only comes in one type, blue!
