|Where are you guys from, just curious? In the southern part of Canada, we just say "SAM-OYD" ... Like 2 syllables, "sam" and "oid" as the end of, uh... hmmm... "hemorrhoid"... But I don't see anyone else listing that as a common pronunciation.
In Texas, where I am now, they all say "SAM-OY-ED", with 3 syllables, and it just sounds weird to my ears...
So what's the rule? Is the one who owns the most Sammies right? Or the one who breeds the most, or is the member of the most Sammie clubs? Or the one who owns the cutest Sammie?
