Iggy's are very beautiful,loving,very gentle,proud, small, great for apartment, easy to handle, not agressive temperment, and make great
hot water bottles, thin coat means very little shedding. The also get along well with other dogs and cats. Fleas don't have anywhere to hide.
DOWNFALLS:
Prefer to sleep under covers which some people don't like. They are one owner dogs, they love their owner and will do anything to get to them if left. Their think coats are a little downfall in that they don't like the cold weather and need at least a sweater. They are very lean dogs and for that reason vets need to be careful of anesthesia and also have thin skin when needing surgery. Best kept on leash, they can run fast. Can't think of 10 reasons not to be owned by an Italian Greyhound.

2. ours likes to disobey even though he knows he'll get in trouble

Pros:
1. They're cuddly versions of the big ones!
2. They keep your feet warm at night
3. They are ridiculously funny when they play
4. They eat very little
5. They make 'doody duty' easy
6. They're easily transportable
7. They shed very little
8. They won't drag you behind on their leash
9. They're good with other dogs - make great playmates
10. They're fast as lightning.

Cons:
1. They're hard to housebreak
2. They can be very stubborn
3. They can be easily injured
4. They're too fragile for very active kids
5. They tend to be alpha- or want to be
6. They're fast as lightning - hard to catch!
7. They're very sensitive to the elements
8. They can have sensitive skin
9. They LOVE to chew up anything and everything!
10. They're very mischeivous
