Haha Meridian I get the same size too and when my husband gives me a look like you're not seriously giving him that thing, I always look up and say "jealous?" Unfortunately Koda goes through a 36 in 15 minutes if I don't monitor him so... it's an expensive addiction.

Do you bully eaters finish the whole thing, or is it a good idea to take it away when there's an inch left?
In one place I read that they can choke on the last piece if they arent careful, but on the other hand, they sell 'bully bites' which are....one inch pieces. confused

I always take them away when they get small. My pups are nibblers so I really don't think they'd choke, but it's not a chance that I'm willing to take.

I'd take the bully stick away when there's an inch left you never know when the chewing pup decides it wants to gulp it down.

The bully bits are probably for small breed dogs, puppies, or something I dunno.

my two dogs are almost done with their bully sticks so I'll have to get another order for them.

I got a 12 inch thick bully sticks I'm thinking of trying a different one like those curly ones or something like that does the curly ones last longer or something?

Saya in my experience the curly ones are usually thinner and don't last as long as regular sticks. The braided ones last longer, and at bestbullysticks.com they have ones that are tied in knots at both ends, those last the longest for us. My dog is 20lbs, but a good chewer.

This is SO interesting. I will only buy Merrick bully sticks because when I got some from a website, they were totally rank! laugh out loud

I gave one to Baxter at the start of a long drive and I pulled over, went into the back, and took the darn thing out of his crate to throw it away!

I usually buy thick 6-8" sticks and they keep Bax occupied when we eat at an outdoor cafe. He can crunch through the thinner kind in a few minutes.
