Some Sheraton properties, if you notify them in advance you are bringing a pet, provide a bed, bowls and poop bags. The last time we stayed there (we were repeat guests) they also left treats in the room for us. I believe all of them allow pets though.

Kimpton Hotels are very pet-friendly.

The big thing, IMO, is if you want to truly be dog friendly is to NOT charge the pet fees. That really irks me when I need to stay somewhere one night with my 2 small dogs (who can stay in a crate) and they want to charge me a $150 non-refundable "pet fee".
