PUPPY ATE GLASS AND GUM!!!

This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

HELP! My puppy Faith ate 3 glass christmas orniments that she found in a closet as well as some SUGAR FREE gum! The vet was closed so I watched her for the night. She cried a bit and stretched her tummy out, but now she seems fine.

Im am still worried.

wow...yea if a puppy ate glass, I would go to the vet. All it takes is for one tear as it goes through the digestive tract to cause huge problems.

In addition to the glass, sugar free gum contains xylitol which is very toxic to dogs. I would take her to the vet; depending on how much gum she ate, she could need immediate medical attention.
