How do they fare with other dogs?? Cash LOVES other dogs! and wants to play constantly. Would it be a good match with him as well?? (he's only about 15 inches tall...so I'm not sure if that would have any effect on it either)

My best bud in the whole world is a Shitzu / Schnauzer cross and we love to play together. I chase him and grab his tail (whatever that is) and he runs underneath me and grabs my chicken wing legs! So much fun!
I would say that boxers love other dogs, but it would be wise to try to get dogs of the same energy level...as mentioned before, boxers are very high energy level and can play all day (not all doggies would appreciate that).

Depends on the dog in question. Some won't tolerate others, some love other dogs. I LOVE LOVE LOVE other dogs. Brigid wants to bully them and sounds like she is going to eat them. But we do have several pals we play with all the time..... from Schnauzers to Rottweillers.

There is a sweet short story on how the boxer was created (unfortunately its a tad religious) That kinda has a sweet story to cover why.... (you can find it online) But generally the boxers do really well with little dogs. Its the ones their size or bigger that are normally going to be an issue, if at all.

Just remember, once you go BOXER its hard to go back! big laugh Seriously, we are such a wonderful breed that if a person can handle the energy level...... You'd be hard pressed to find a more majestic, sweet, athletic dog.

Good luck on finding the pawfect pup! cheer

One more quick question.

Would I be better off getting a male or a female?

Hmmmm, well personally I like the males more than females.... DONT TELL BRIGID. red face But in my experience, the males are generally easier to deal with. But each dog is diffferent
