This is a place to gain some understanding of dog behavior and to assist people in training their dogs and dealing with common behavior problems, regardless of the method(s) used. This can cover the spectrum from non-aversive to traditional methods of dog training. There are many ways to train a dog. Please avoid aggressive responses, and counter ideas and opinions with which you don't agree with friendly and helpful advice. Please refrain from submitting posts that promote off-topic discussions. Keep in mind that you may be receiving advice from other dog owners and lovers... not professionals. If you have a major problem, always seek the advice of a trainer or behaviorist!

Anyone know much about them? I'm looking around for dog trainer programs (to become a trainer, not to get my dog trained). I was considering the Tom Rose School, but after reading comments about it from this site, well, not so sure about that one anymore.

But yeah, has anyone had experience with or heard about them?

Other suggestions for dog trainer school are welcome too. I'm also looking in the Karen Pyror Academy as well.

I know a number of people who have gotten satisfactory service/assistance dogs from them but no one who has gone through their training school. They wouldn't be my first choice, but that is more because they don't have any sort of Name or reputation.
