Arrival Story:
We had found a basset hound loose in the neighborhood and housed him for two days. We fell in love with him, but after we found his owner we rightfully returned him, but our hearts ached for a basset hound. Looking through the local paper, we saw an ad for a 5 month old basset hound puppy. We headed out to go see her. We were waiting in the living room and in runs this basset puppy; she jumped right on the previous owner's cat! It was love at first sight!

Today, we had to make a very difficult and painful decision to put our Cleo to rest forever. She started going downhill very quickly and we didn't want her to be in pain any longer. She passed on very peacefully and was surrounded by the people who loved her very much. We have peace knowing that she's not in pain anymore and now she's running around full tilt as she used to in her younger days when she was known as the Ballistic Bassett.

We love you and miss you Cleo. You'll forever be in our hearts.

Rest in peace honey.
