It's Tuff to Get Old!June 18th 2010 8:48 am[ Leave A Comment | 10 people already have ]
Hi Pals - I've been away as these old bones just ain't what they used to be and I jumped off the bed and landed badly and been limping around for days. I'm finally feeling so much better and back to my old self. At the same time, I got a serious eye infection which I've been getting drops for twice a day and that's also much better.

Bless Bee's family for sending you the lovely stairs. We hope you will be able to start using them and that your Mom can sleep through without worries. Feel better, lil pal! Love, Sully & Socks Oh my friend.. it sure isnt easy.. the Boys are young.. I am not old.. but after a few ops... stuff gets tougher. Am thinking.. a few judiciously placed treats on the step may encourage you to climb them !!! BIG hugs for you... the brave inherit bruises.. the cautuious get to see the world for longer ! I'm glad you are feeling better sweet boy. Be careful and don't jump off anything now! Faith Bergamasco We are so glad you are doing better. I guess, it is time to quit jumping, Willie...I know, I'm going to be 3, but Grandma worries about my jumping business too...She hasn't been able to stop me... We hope you adapt to the stairs and realize they make things easier for ya...Treats for using the stiars a Great idea....that's was how I learned to ring a brass bell that means I want outside now. So glad you got those stairs, now when you get proficient with them you will do so much better. Hope your eyes clear up fast! Woofs! Willie my furriend....we "seniors" have to learn we can't do some things we used to...even though we hate admitting it! Hope you use the steps and don't take a chance on hurting yourself again. Hugs, Cassie-role Willie, Dude...I know exactly what you are going through! I am no longer allowed to get on or off the bed without Mom's help, as my back legs don't work very well. I hated to wait for mom and would try it on my own, which always led to a disaster, but now I know to bark for Mom to help me on or off and each time I do that I get a treat! I'll bet if your Mom uses treats to help guide you up and down the stairs a few times you will be flying up and down in no time! Getting a little help from your Mom is actually a great thing, it will make her feel good to help you! BOL! Love you buddy! Baxter Glad you are Feeling better. The stairs from your Beloved Bea are wonderful gift. You will feel better & you will get goodies from Mommy for using them, yummy, bol. Hope your eye is all healed up too. Mommy says take it easy sweetie. Hugs & Pokes, Willie, those of us in our "plus" years have to sort of make things up as we go, don't we? Thank dog your beloved Bee found some steps that you're willing to use! Mommy & I are so very glad that you're feeling better, your eye is healing & that your marvelous Mom finally got some sleep. I don't know how they do it, but Mommies seem to always have one eye open where we're concerned. :-) Lots of extra big hugs to you & your Mom sweet boy! ~ Muffin XOXO Darling Wilster, We are so glad you are feeling a bit better and that your eye is healing up, we were so worried about you and Mommy. Be careful my love and I hope you continue to get used to the stairs, mine were so helpful to me when Mum got them for me (either that or I was very motivated my the liver treats laid on them to use them)! Lots of love and puppy kisses to you and Mommy. All my love always, Your Bee (Rockie and Mummy Sarah) xoxoxox |
