Rolled up Newspaper

"A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews something or has a housebreaking accident. Use the newspaper only if you were not able to interfere at the right time because you did not pay attention. Take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase: "I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG." Use this technique over and over again. After several corrections you will be conditioned enough to keep an eye on your dog. Do not use the rolled-up newspaper for any other purpose. If your dog laughs at you when you do this, praise him."

Thanks you guys. Ruby and I just found it while searching German Shepherd Breeder websites. It tickled our fancy and we thought we had to share it with our Dogster friends :)

It was funny watching Momma's face while she was reading this. She was, at first, getting kind of angry because the breeder was from out of the country and she thought they were saying it was okay to hit dogs with newspapers, BOL!

BOL! My mom heard my other peep yell at me when I ate the cats food. She heard "no. Bad!" Mom ran over and pointed her finger at my other peep and said "No. Bad! You forgot to pick it up". Yay mom!!!!!!!

Way to go, Sunny's Momma.
She's got a good head on her shoulders. You should keep her Sunny Lee!

It sounds like a good training method to me, but I wouldn't count on it working. Most humans are kind of stupid and have a hard time learning.
