Back in California?

I find this all quite mind boggling. Once again, Ellie and I found ourselves in our varikennels undergoing check in at an airport. We had, of course, confirmed reservations but still the check in process is a bit complex. We must be examined, our crates must be examined, we must have health records...and we in our kennels must be weighed. It took us an hour to check in. All that Ellie and I could do to help was be good dogs, and so we were...we were quiet and calm and didn't even mind when folks looked in at us and admired us. We hate it when we get taken from Cindy to our place in the area low in the plane...but we know she is with us...and this time, unlike our journey to Hawaii, we were immediately reunited with her at the airport in San Francisco. We were released from our kennels and ran around the parking lot and then rod in Auntie Linda's van...sooooooooo much better than quarantine. We are now starting our new life in new home, we live in a lovely cottage on a ranch south of San Jose. We can not believe our good fortune to live somewhere quiet but with so much to see and smell. And best of all, even though we don't have stuff yet...Cindy said the furniture is coming later...Cindy is sleeping better now. The last two weeks in Hawaii were very hard for her. None of us slept much. We're catching up now!

We have arrived in California

After another plane ride...I hate plane rides. I hate being in my crate for hours and hours...but I'd hate not being with Cindy most of all, and I knew I had to gut it out and be with her...also knew it was important that I be a good doggie.

It was wonderful to see her at the airport, and this time, unlike our arrival in Hawaii, we got out of our crates right away. We were in a motel for two nights and then yesterday we moved into our new home. It is a cottage on a ranch in southern San Jose, right near a lake. It is wonderful! House is kinda empty but that just gives me more room to run!

California here we come

Well...yes indeed, I will have another airplane trip. I do wish we could just instantly relocate...Cindy would be spared the packing and stress, Ellie and I would forego the long day in kennels and on the airplane. But we do what we must to keep the pack together!

Another plane ride in my future?

Cindy's been talking about going back to the mainland...hmmm...well...I liked California, and truth be told I'm happy anywhere Cindy and Ellie are with me. But the plane ride's kinda hard, I have to be in the varikennel for a long time, and it's noisy...

But she said there's no quarantine...actually, long ago, when me n Ellie finished quarantine here in Hawaii, she promised us we'd never have to do anything like that again.

So maybe this time once we get off the airplane we'll all just be really comfy and can hang out together.

Four years together!

This month, April, will be four years since Cindy and Ellie brought me into the pack...wow, time really does fly because it doesn't seem like such a long time.

I want to eat Cindy's laptop....

She has these technical certification things she does for her job...I know they're important and all...but, to be honest...

I HATE THEM

She gets into this "study mode" thing and we feel like she isn't even living with us any more...she's on the computer all the time studying, or reading. We still get our walks and we get a little play time, but not like I want of course. But more than anything else, she gets stressed and tired.

I really want to just eat the darned laptop but I don't think that would work out so well.
