Arrival Story:
Hi, the way I came to get Baby was the Lord sent her to me, I know a lot of you might say that's crazy or it doesn't make sense but I really believe that with all my heart. I am disabled and I don't get out of my home except to go to my doctors and I have always been a very active person that never sat still and was always on the go. By the time 2006 came around I was really starting to go crazy being stuck in my home day in and day out all alone. I started praying for the Lord to please help me, I was so lonely, between me and Todd
we have 6 children and 11 grandchildren but we don't get to see them that often, everyone is always so busy and I understand that. I use to be able to get out to go to all my grandchildren's sports games, party's and going to the movies with them or just going to their home and hanging out with them all.
But I became disabled and I couldn't do any of those things anymore, Tracy brought Baby over one day and asked me if I wanted her, she was the answer to my prayers. Baby was the runt of the litter, my doors are about an inch and a half off the floors, something about the codes, but a couple of days after I got her I was going to mop my kitchen floor so I put Baby in the bathroom while I mopped, I shut the door and started toward the kitchen and I heard little feet patter and I looked around and there she was. I thought that I didn't shut the bathroom door so I took her back in there and the door was shut. I said how in the world did you got out of there so I put her back and shut the door and she crawled right out from under the door, that's how tiny she was.
I wouldn't take a million dollars for her, when Tracy brought Baby over to my house to see if I wanted her, I feel in love with her right then and there. Baby will be 3 years old in July and me and her has never been apart from each other except the few hours when I had her fixed. The vet said that it would be best to have her fixed since she was so small, that even getting pregnant by another full blooded rat terrier would probably kill her since she is the runt and her babies would most likely be normal size. So that's how I came to have my Baby.
Bio:
Baby is a full blooded tri color rat terrier, she weighs only 10 pounds. She use to be smaller than that but she started having seizures and the medicine that they put her on made her put on weight. She started having seizures over a year ago, 3 times she almost died from them, they finally got her the right amount of dosage and she has been doing good ever since. She loves to snuggle with me, she even sleeps with me, when she is in the bed she has to sleep completely under the covers, she is like my shadow. Whereever I go in the house she is always right behind me, I am never out of her sight. She loves it when the grandchildren come over, she gets all excited when I tell her that they are coming over to see her. She will pick up her bone or toy and carry it around in her mouth almost the whole time that they are here.

Baby is so crazy, I live out in the country and have woods all around my house, their are oodles of wild cats that live out in those woods, Baby lays on the back of my couch watching for them. When she wants outside she will start jumping up and down at the door and when I open it she will hall buggy flying down those steps and she will run all up and down at the edge of the woods just a barking. Then she will run back to the steps and sit there smiling at me, she will sit there smiling till I say "where's the kitty cats", then she will run all over the yard just a barking. She is so silly.
Baby loves to go for a car ride and especially going to visit all her brothers and her sister and especially her maw-maw.
She is very smart, she has a bin full of toys and each one has a name and I can tell her to go and get a specific toy and she will go and get that toy, any toy I say she will get it. I can hide them anywhere and tell her to go look a certain place thats where she will go look.
Baby loves to play hide n seek with me and she like to sit on the back of the couch at the window watching for her daddy when it gets close to time for him to come home.
She will get a toy and bring it over to where you are at and she will start shaking it real hard and nudge it against you, she is wanting you to try to take it away from her, when you try to she will turn it away from you, like she is teasing you, lol.
Baby loves her maw-maw (my mom). She gets all excited when she knows that her maw-maw is coming to see her. She will sit between me and my mom and I'll say thats my maw-maw and she will get up on my mom and lick her chin, we call that her kisses, she will do it everytime I say it, lol.
When she is getting ready to go somewhere she has to come and give me bye kisses, lol, she will lick my chin real fast, thats her kisses.
Baby is real protective of me and she tries to act all big and bad, when someone comes over and they knock at the door she will start barking like crazy, like she is going to tear them up but as soon as I open the door and they come inside she will run off whining like she is hurt, even if she knows them she will do that at first, except my mom, she doesn't do that when she comes in. But after she sees who they really are she will run up to them.
Baby cannot stand to get wet. When I tell her its time to take a bath she will go and sit under my couch table, I guess she is trying to hide but once she takes her bath she feels great, she will run circles real fast all around the dining room table.
