Errrr...I don't like the vet!

I had to go to the vet last week and they shaved this spot off my side! Can you believe it! I looks like I have some crazy mange thing going on. Turns out that the vet doesn't think it's anything major - a fatty tumor is what they call it. I might eventually have to have it removed, but not yet. I have to go back on Thursday and get another test done on it...boy I hope they don't shave me again!

Another Saturday at obedience school

WOW...I went back to see that lady who's teaching us new stuff and a place Mom calls obedience school. We (me and Leah) are actually learning a whole lot there. Amber says we're really smart and quick learners. Apparently Mom's on to my whole innocent act. I've been pegged as the instigator of a lot of things and the more stubborn of the two of us. Oh well...life couldn't have remained so perfect! hehehehe.

I really like Amber though. She's nice and she doesn't yell at us and she thinks I'm cute and smart. She brought one of her dogs today because we have aggression toward other dogs, but we're working on it. I got lots of yummy roast beef today! I'll take roast beef over barking any day! I did really good - better than Leah! We'll see about next time because the dog will be more aggressive than the one today. Not sure how that will go, but I think I'll do fine.

Grooming....errrr...

Wow...what a day yesterday. Dad dropped us off at the groomer and we had to stick around there all day. NOT fabulous! They bathed me and combed me and dried me and trimmed me and messed with my butt and pulled at my ears. Totally NOT fabulous! I do look like a dapper little boy now though...so says my Mom. Whenever I come home from getting my hair done, all she wants to do is hug on and pet me. She says I'm ultra soft and very cute...all beard and ears she says. Bah! I don't know if it's worth all the work...but hey...I get lots of kisses out of it! And some extra treats!!!!

I heard today's the gloomiest day....

And boy are they right!!! Since Mom and Dad are at work, I thought I'd jump on the computer. It's gross outside and no squirrels are out and about for me to watch.

I read that today's the gloomiest day of the year according to some really smart professor that some group paid lots of money to. The town of Atlanta decided they really wanted to get on board because today's weather is gross with a capital G. It's still raining, despite my prayers for it to stop.

Hehehehe...I did get out yesterday and I scouted out that mud puddle again...I was just about to lay down when Dad jumps outta nowhere and yells at me to not even think about it. heheheh...I did get a little mud on me...I had to, it was calling my name!!!

Anyway...hope everyone gets through the gloomiest day of the year...

I love the weekends!

Wow...Sunday again already. I love the weekends, that means my Mom and Dad are around almost all day and I get to take naps in my Mom's lap and just generally enjoy myself allllll day!

Mom has this new cell phone that has a camera on it...boy is she wearing me out with that thing...but hey...I love to have my picture taken so it's no big deal.

I did something really funny yesterday. It's been raining for - I don't know...a year maybe? Well...out backyard has such good smells in it and now it's all muddy and stuff. I came home from getting my teeth cleaned the other day and smelled like the hospital and stuff...not good! Well I decided it would be awesome to try to rub all that bad smell off with some good smells from my backyard. Yea, Mom wasn't real happy about it. For some reason she grabbed me up in a towel and took me straight to the tub for a bath. NOT GOOD!!! I hate baths even more than the vet. Now I smell all clean and am just waiting for the right time to go find that spot again in the backyard! :-) Don't tell my Mom!!!

The holidays...

Hi everyone...I've just created my diary and wanted to fill everyone in on my wild and crazy holidays.

It started with Thanksgiving. What a great day! My Dad deep fried a turkey and we had all my grandparents in the house. It was great fun and I got some good turkey that day! The Saturday after Thanksgiving, my Mom and her parents went shopping and they came home to find out that my sister had gotten up on the dining room table and eaten a whole bag of chocolate. NOT GOOD!!! Lucily it made her really sick and she'd thrown most of it up already. I didn't eat any but got blamed just the same. We went to the vet and they shaved our legs and put a needle in and gave us medicine to make us sick and throw up. We got better...but I won't forgive Leah for getting me in so much trouble!

Next came Christmas and boy was that fun. We went to Knoxville, Tennessee and stayed in the this awesome kennel there. It's near my grandparents house so Mom and Dad are really close by. Once we got back to Atlanta there was a really bad storm with hail and everything and that really scared us. New Years Day came and Mom and Dad went out for dinner. I decided to have some fun and jumped in one of Mom's baskets and got up on the sideboard in the dining room and snagged a big ole chocolate bar that one of my Mom's friends had given her for Christmas. Well...another trip to the vet...this time to the emergency vet. Mom and Dad vowed to never have chocolate in the house again...so far they've held to that. Arumph!
