Happy Halloween Dogster Pups!

I've just been tagged by my good buds Buddy & Sadie for a little Q&A! When I'm done, I'll tag someone else. Here we go ...

1. What color is your collar?
I have three, but right now I'm rocking a hot pink one with a cheetah print. Fashion forward, that's me.

2. What kind of food do you eat?
Well, we used to be on something called a rotation diet, but for the last few weeks we've been on something called Franken-prey. Sounds spooky, doesn't it? It's not, though. What it means is that we eat raw meat, along with some bones and other stuff. Mom weighs our food on a little scale. I love raw - it's delish!

3. What are your favorite treats?
String cheese is always yummy! I get that when I do agility!

4. Do you have a Valentine or significant other?
I could get a boyfriend for sure since I'm so pretty, but Mom says I can't yet because I'm too young.

5. Do you get table scraps?
If it's something good for us, we do. And sometimes Mom will give us a really really small taste of something super yummy like vanilla ice cream. Mmm!

6. What is your favorite toy?
A green ball with a squeaker on the inside and fuzzy stuff on the outside of it.

7. When is your birthday?
I was adopted, so Mom isn't sure exactly when I was born. So we celebrate it on July 7th. The rescue said that's probably pretty close.

8. How many times a day do you eat?
We used to eat twice a day, but now we just get a snack in the morning and our big meal at night.

9. Do you have a favorite color?
I don't know if I see colors, but if I could it would be pink!

10. Do you hope all your pals put this in their diary?

And now - who to tag? Ok, ready?

If you're reading this .... consider yourself tagged! Now pass it on!

I'm An Agility Star!

Good morning, Dogster Pals!

I just wanted to share the news that I am now an agility star. Well, maybe not exactly a star, but I DID graduate from Intro to Agility I last night, and I had to take a test and everything!

I passed every obstacle, even the teeter, which I am not terribly fond of, but I DID IT! And now that I understand that all the contact obstacles are not going to fall away underneath me, I love the dog walk and the A-frame. "Charge it!" is my favorite agility command.

We had a real graduation ceremony and everything, although I didn't wear a cap and gown. But I did get a diploma with my name on it, and a goodie-bag full of treats and stuff. One of the treats was a mail-man shaped cookie almost as big as my head. Mom says I have to share with Tucker, because when he graduated from Agility I, he didn't get a goodie-bag. I wonder why.

Intro to Agility II starts next week - I can't wait!

Bark at everyone soon!

Agility is FUN!

So Tuesday night I went to agility again. It was SOO much fun! At first, I didn't like the dog walk, the teeter, or the A-frame, but now that I've had a little bit of practice, I feel much more confident. The weave poles are hard, but I have the tunnel, the chute, and the table down pat. I think I'm going to be really good at this!

Last night was my first class, and I did really well!

Actually, Mom & I tried to take agility a few months ago, but when we got there, there were lots and lots of dogs, including a bunch of really big ones that were kinda wild. It scared me, and stressed Mom out, so we didn't continue. But a new class started up yesterday and there are only six dogs in it besides me, and two of them are Papillons, so they are littler than me. For once I am not the smallest! Yay! Also in the class is a German Shepherd, an Australian Shepherd, a Sheltie, and a Lab. I like all of them except the Lab - once she got away from her Mom and ran over to me really fast. I didn't know if she wanted to play with me or eat me, and I was scared! She might be nice, but she is sorta wild, and she scares me. I think I'll stay away from her. One of the Papillons looked like he would be a good friend, but his Mom didn't want him to socialize during the class. :(

So far, I like the tunnel the best, and the teeter obstacle the least. I also like the table and the jumps. I think I will be good at this, plus I get lots of yummy treats, which is always good, since I love food!

Well, bark at you later!

I was naughty!

Ruh roh! I got in trouble!

Now, I usually don't get in trouble very often, for two reasons:

1) I'm quite well-behaved as a general rule.

2) When I am a little bit naughty, it is usually not for anything too terrible, and if Mom starts to look mad, I just stare right at her, usually with my lower lip catching on my underbite, look incredibly cute, and she just stops being mad because I'm so adorable and she loves me so much.

BUT ... two nights ago when Mom and my Aunt Kelli were eating dinner at the dining room table, Aunt Kelli looked down and saw me chewing on the leg of one of the dining room chairs! I looked at Mom, and gave her my most endearing smile, trying to look as cute as I've ever looked in my life, but it was no good. I was BUSTED and Mom was mad!!!!

Of course, it wasn't long before she had forgiven me, but I don't think I'll be doing THAT again anytime soon. (Mom said what she was maddest about was that I had a bunch of chew toys just laying on the floor right near where I was chewing on the chair. I definitely made a bad choice there!)

I don't like being in trouble, so I think I'll stay on the straight & narrow from now on.

Bark at you later!

Good morning, puppy pals!

It is a cold morning here in Tampa Bay, so before I could accompany Mom to work, I had to put my warm pink hoodie on.

I love going to work with Mom. We usually order breakfast to be delivered, and I always order a single scrambled egg. YUMMY!

Later on, we'll probably go out and walk around a little bit, but right now I am sleepy, so I am going to take a nap in my favorite place, which is up on Mom's desk in front of the window, so that I can keep an eye on things.

Well, it's nap time ... bark at you later!

I am SUCH a good girl!

Well, last night when my brother, Tucker, and I were going out to potty before bed, we saw this funny-looking critter over in the corner of the yard, so we started barking really loud and ran over to investigate. Mom didn't know what it was we were barking at, because there are no motion lights in that corner of the yard, but she knew it was something we probably shouldn't be close to, so she called for us to "Come!" and so we did, even though we both wanted to stay and bark some more at that funny-looking guy who had invaded our yard. Mom was very relieved, and she praised us to the skies, and petted us and told us we were good, good doggies. Then she yelled at the funny-looking guy, which Mom said was a possum, to "go away!" and he did. Afterwards, we went inside and instead of getting our evening biscuit before bed, we each got a big piece of turkey! Mmmm! The moral of this story: what Mom calls a "solid recall" means yummy treats! So, puppy pals, if your human calls you, come right away, even if you don't want to, and I bet you'll be glad you did!

How Cool Am I?

Hello to all my new friends & admirers ... Phoebe here.

Now, I don't like to brag ... but I am so cool.

I am only a year and a half old, and today I attended a commercial shoot, AND flew on an airplane for the first time. Mom works in something called advertising, which means that, among other things, she produces commercials for TV and radio. I have gone to work with her lots of times before, but today I got to go to an actual shoot, because Mom and I were taking a plane ride later in the day.

As usual, I was a perfect angel at the office, and at the shoot I sat calmly in my leopard print travel bag and observed everything that was going on. A lot of it was kinda boring, and I have to confess, I may have nodded off once or twice. I did have to wonder why no one was taking MY picture - especially because I was freshly bathed and brushed in preparation for my trip, and, because of the cold weather, I was wearing my pink velour hoodie and feeling particularly stylish. I was sufficiently admired, though, both for my adorable good looks and my exemplary behavior. Then it was time to go back to the office and wrap up a few things before going to the airport.

A friend from Mom's office whom I particularly like because she always tells me how cute I am drove us to the airport. I was a little nervous when we went through the security checkpoint, because I didn't have the proper ID, but they let me through anyway. I guess it's true what they say - being adorable definitely has its advantages!

While we waited for our flight, Mom unzipped my bag and I just sat there taking everything in while Mom read her magazine, and then on the plane since the flight wasn't that crowded, I got to sit in my bag on the seat next to Mom's and look out the window. Wow, we were up high! The flight wasn't very long, hardly long enough for me to enjoy a peanut or two, and then we were arriving, and Grandpa picked us up at the airport.

I must say, I could get used to the jetset life.

Until next time,
