Arrival Story:
My mother was aquired as a re-home. She had such a wonderful personality that the lady had to have a baby from her. They found the perfect mate and Amy became pregnant. She was a happy and loving mother but there were only 2 puppies in the litter. Unfortunately, The male had birth defects and didn't survive . So, I had no siblings to grow up and learn with. The lady played the part of a sibling to try to make my begining as normal as possible. Aside from knowing that the world rotates around me, I am a very sweet little girl. I will make my show ring debut on Valentine's Day and show everyone why I AM the "Empress Ett".

So much news!

It has been a very long time since I have had an opportunity to post anything.

In November we had a holiday called Thanksgiving with a big turkey dinner and all we did was eat. That is one of my favorite days of the year.

In December we got to have another holiday called Christmas. We all got special treats. This year we got rawhide buckets filled with more rawhide treats. Our lady let us eat whatever we wanted and they actually lasted several days. We all shared as we had our favorite treats.

In January the show circuit started again and we were busy going to shows. Even my baby brother, Hairy got to go. In fact, he was just 13 months old and he got the last points he needed to become a champion. That isn't fair since I have been to lots of shows and I still don't have my title. Oh well, this way I get to go to more shows while he stays home. His Papa takes him Lure coursing now.

In April we took a trip all the way to southern CAlifornia for a big hound show. I got a lot of trophies and loves from my lady. Mom, Amy also did very well and peopled clapped for her as she went around the ring. They also had an afternoon of lure coursing and Hairy got his very first major points chasing those plastic bunnies. It was a good show for all of us, not to mention that we got to see a lot of friends.

From there we went to Texas to visit with my sister Basher and her family. We had a lot of fun. The last day there we went to a ;oace called New Mexico to lure course again. Mon, Amy ran with Basher to qualify her to run in competition since she had never run before. That little show off went on to get Best of Breed for the entire day. I was right behind her and got 2nd.

Well, I will try to get back here a little sooner next time. We are leaving tomorrow for another show and I will get to see another of my little sisters named Emma. It should be a fun weekend.

Hope you are all having a good Spring and are looking forward to summer..............

Long time

It has been a long time since I posted anything in my diary.

I have been to several show and now things have slowed down for a while. The last show we went to my mom, Amy stayed home and it was just Hairy and me.

Hairy did real good and even got a Reserve Winner one day. I think he is growing up a little. At least he is in the ring, at home he is still the little brother who is a real pain.

I managed to get Winner and Best of Opposite one day too. That gave me one more point toward my championship. I guess that is a good thing. I just like to go visit and see everyone at the shows.

My mom is going to have a birthday in a couple weeks and I guess she will be in a different class at the shows then. She gets to go with us to a show in December. Our lady mentioned that she is going to teach mom to do something called Rally. So, it isn't true that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. My mom is smart and she will learn.

The lady got us a bigger vehicle to go to shows in. She called it a motor home. We get to stay at the shows now. It is like taking home with us. We really like it since we can just walk to the ring and, we don't have to stay in the car while the lady gets her meals.

Time for me to go but I will be back. I just don't know when.

I hope all my pals out there have a good fall and winter. I heard we have some turkey dinner coming soon...............

Excitement!

Hi pup pals.
I know that my mom, Amy, wrote about our trip last month. I have been trying to get our lady to print my side of it but she has been very busy. So, I am going to give it a try. I need a bigger keyboard! My toes keep hitting more than one key at a time.

Anyway, We borrowed a bigger car, packed it to the roof and beyond, picked up a lady friend of mine and off we went. It was a little crowded but we made it. It was a long show called the Pharaoh Hound Nationals that we were headed to.

Our lady showed Hairy both days he was entered and he got 2nd place. It was his very first show! My lady friend showed with me and we also got 2nd both days that we showed. Then, our lady showed mom Amy with some of the top dogs in the country for Best of Breed. She didn't win but she did make the final judge's cut! That was really exciting for all of us here.

To end the week of festivities there was lure coursing. It was my very first time to do that and with 12 other dogs entered in my class I ended up with a 2nd place ribbon. I was really surprised.

We have slowed down now for a while. My 1/2 brother is visiting with us now. He and Hairy sometimes gang up on me like boys will and I have to put them in their places. Trouble is that they are a lot bigger than me and I have to watch for them to sneak up on me. Even at that, it is nice to have a visitor to play with and we all have fun....
