Gones to the Cats!!!!

Doggone it this lady where we stayin' be a cat rescue lady so she gots the cats ins & outs of her house & so cause of it Me & Dion my best gal can't go upstairs & hafta stay down in a computer room locked up though it be a big room & we get to goes outside lots but still they gots dogs & we would loves to makes friends with 'em even though the female Pit Bull cross here don't likes us at all. I gots to play with the black labbie cross though just me & him & we hads such fun outs in the yard playin' & runnin' & wrestlin' so we gots a good furiendship goin'. Sorry we ain't been around but Mom can't gets on the computer box that often fer Dogster or Catster rights now. When we be on, we be filin' complaints with the insurance co. national group against the local group. Greats talkin' to 'ya my furiends & we tries to gets on as often as we cans.

Fire! Thank God we're all safe!

So right after breakfast this morning at Billie Bob's place @ PIF we lay down to all take a nap & Lilly loves to yowl howl but today she just kept going & kept going & kept hanging at the front window & so whens she waked us ups froms our nap we not too upsets -- then the smoke detectors be howlin' their heads off & then they stopped & started again & didn't stop & Mom sez it's awfully dark in here is it night? Then she sniffed & coughed & sniffed & screamed to us dogs to go gets Mother person & she be ups the stairs at a time while we runnin' to gets Mother & she screaming MOTHER! Mother! Then she be screaming Lilly Cat! Dion! Pinto! Morse! And Mother be down the hall with us & Mom gots the phone in her hand & Mom opened the front door to lets air in & seen how bad the smoke be & just a yellin' ats us that we gots to gets out right now! And me Pinto be out & thoughts Dion rans acrosses the street but later we couldn't finds her & thoughts we saw Lilly Cat but Mom hads Morse in her hands & we standin' in the pourin' rain & Mom looks at the side of the house where the window be while she be dialing 911 who wants to haves a long casual chat with her so Mom mentioned that there be flames shootin' outs the sides of the house froms the windows & black smoke & darks grey smoke just strange smoke & they lady sez oh I'll send someone right out. Mom just sez our address & what the problem be & then the lady finally understands. Guess that Mom be too calm at first but then she sez flames & fire visible & we gots a bunch of fire engines & police cars & gots rescue & the lady cop sez to her that if she can moves the car & gets us in it so much the better cause then they can gets cross the driveway with the hoses. Smoke damage. siding damage. Windows gone on the driveway side of basement. Insurance adjuster called, but we lucky & a nice neighbor asked us to stays with her & we be grateful & we thank God for good neighbors & fer bein' alive! Please remembers us in 'ya prayers.

Mom be Barkin' Mad!!!!

But Mom it be rainin' outsides & the grass be wet! Why can't we plays roughs in the house? Okays knows we knocked somes things over but it weren't too bad just that two foot tall frig & a kitchen chair & the pillows offen the sofa whens we chasin' the cats around but there be so many cats rights now here that they drivin' us nuts Mom! Why can't we haves funs with 'em too? They climbin' all over us! Be a hissin' and swattin' at us when we tries to makes 'em gets away from our food too! Why 'ya gettin' mads with us? Okays so we been tryin' to eats that cat food they brung overs with 'em but that a different kinds than what's we beens stealin' from the other cats (ow! what's that hind side pop fer Mom --- oooohhh... right we nots s'posed to be eatin' anys of the cat food!) The cover be on the fans too so didn't hurts 'em when we knocked 'em downs -- just cooled down the floors for yer & Mother's footsies untils 'ya founds out what fell.... and the recylcin' haves suches goods smells in it & we didn't means to takes that many cans outs & leaves 'em under the kitchen table & under the dining room table & on the living room floor & trailin' down the hall to the bedroom... ya expects us to puts the cans backs in the bag? Do 'ya knows how hard it is to work arounds that tie knot & gets them cans outs of the bag thru that small opening? And I was tryin' to pees in the toilet & didn't means to pees on the seat & the floor & the sides cause it be rainin' outside & me didn't wants to gets wet cause me mades of sugar & mights melt & Mother just be a yellin' at me & 'ya standin' there laughin' at me Mom & gettin' upsets cause 'ya forgots to charge the camera battery so the camera not gonna works without it.

Be glads & doggy happy when all them cats goes homes & stays home fer awhiles cause what's fun they be iffen we can't licks 'em & makes 'em squeak? Sigh. Glads we be on a cruise this weekend & rights now me gonna goes backs to sleep & takes a nice long nap. Wakes me up Mom when the sky clears & we can goes fer a nice long walk.

Rowdy Our Furiend Still needs Donations fer himself &- Prayers fer his Mom & himself.

The barks below be from me best gal Dion The CatDog's diary Dion's Walking Tours & be abouts our furiend Rowdy who needs fundin' & me was supposed to does me own entry last week but just better iffen me goes aheads and puts it below & then puts his pic on our page. His Mom thinks she gots the breast cancer again & so Rowdy's surgery nots even paids for & he haves already hads it & so they owes fer it & now she gots the health problems of her own so me gonna puts the pic on me page so we & others can remembers to prays fer her & Rowdy & so that's peoples can goes to his page & clicks on his fundable link & donates since they be in need. As she sez in Rowdy's latest diary entry sometimes it just be a quick prayer 'ya sez in passin' but it makes all the difference.

Rowdy haves a fundable with a click links on his page to donates fer his former surgery cause the funding fell thru & he haves already haves the surgery on backs but still havin' troubles with his legs & can't makes it by hisself downs the back steps of his yard very good at all so he gots a place in the front yard now with a little fence. Rowdy's Mom sick now too & mights have the cancer so they gots the expenses. Troubles Again, Sigh... That's dreaded D word DIET!

Me just gettin' to updates me diary cause I been a bad doggy again! Mom sez she nots gonna glorify it & lets me be braggin' about it by barkin' 'bout it here, but she lettin' me nows even though me just gots in trouble again. I just gots thru eatin' a few nibbles of that good cat food, but 'ya just don't understands. Mom tryin' to puts me on a diet, Meli Mom is & now even Mother agrees that iffen the walks don't works in gettin' down me love handles then me gonna hafta eats different food & no people food (NO!) & less of it. Mother mads with me too fer turnin' me nose ups at me dry dog food cause me haves been beggin' so muches peoples food from her & eatin' up the cat food that my dry food is no longer good nuff fer me & wouldn't matters what kinds it be neither. Don't care. Don't wants nones of that dry stuff! Yuck! But iffen me don't wants to starve I gots to eats it! Meli Mom & Mother sez me treat will be whens they haves the chicken & rice that I can haves somes of that cause it be recommended fer the dogs on the diet as really filling & good fer us. Hopes we be havin' chicken & rice every night fer a week then.

Those cats just haves it made every since some furs at somes cat group tolds Mom that the dry cat food be even more fattenin' than dry dog food & that better to gives them some canned food & they gonna loses weight. Lilly Cat be silly 'bout it & won't even eats her canned food just munches & nibbles on the dry all day so Mom haves started givin' her only a spoonful of the canned food at the time cause she wastes even a quarter of the normal size small cat food can and just takes a couple of little nibbles & she dones with it most days. Why can't me haves it then? WHY? But no, Mom takes it to the cat in the room whichever cat be there now & that gettin' confusin' too & nones of the cats likes me that be visitors. Mom sez the new one Crow Raven named by David Dad not be a visitor either. NO! He hates me! He loves Mom & Mother but he hates me! All teeth & claws & me can't evens walks by that door with it open without him hissing & carryin' on likes me tryin' to steals his room! Hey, Crow Raven hisses & snarls too even iffen the door be closed when me gets too close to the room... What that be about? Me not the doggy swat team 'bout to knocks his door down and takes him away!

Sigh. Me just loves the kitty cat food. Why they get all the special flavors & the ones fer the doggies be so limited? I likes the fish & the salmon & does they make affordable dog food in them flavors? No & even whens they do they always be discontinuin' it as unpopular. The kitty cats get trout & shrimp & salmon & tuna & codfish & sardines & all kinds of yummy seafood flavors so that just nots be fair & nots fair that we can't haves any either. Mom will lets me eats Morse's leftovers cause he gets half a normal tuna fish size cat food can a day & some days he eats all of it but other days he licks the oil offen the food eats half of it and leaves the rest around his dish on the kitchen floor & me just helpin' him out there cause that make Mother really, really mad at Morse & she picks him up & calls him whale cat & elephant cat cause he be a big guy & lugs him backs to his room days he scatters his food. Me not minds a little cat spit on me food & those be good days as longs as me beats Dion to it cause she just loves the cat food & tries to get me blamed when she eats their special greens dry food which gots the vegetables & greens in it fer the indoor cats.

Well, Dion & me promised Rowdy an entry fer the fund raisin' & me gets to that one & more on the bad things me dones later today. Dion be a good girl & already gots her entry dones and the picture up but Mom couldn't gets online fer me cause me gots jealous of the computer box & kepts tryin' to gets in her lap & me not a small dog -- Mom sez unlessen me gonna grows some more that 70 lbs. be too heavy fer me and that it be at least five pounds of fat. Sigh. Me gonna be starved to deaths.

GRRRRRR @ Bein’ in the Time Out place

Mom always sez she don’t cares what’s the Dog Whisperer sez on that program ‘bout it not doin’ any goods fer the dog to be in time out cause it proven likes to works on me so when me a bad doggy or certain times Mom points her finger to the end of the couch & me jumps up there & stays until she sez it be okay to gets down. Done discovered too that the more times me gets down when she tells me to stays the longer me gots to stays on the couch & that where me be rights now. Yeah in the doghouse agains cause me peed on Mom but that not hows the whole thing started. See, me don’t gets the cat food tins to licks clean when me sticks me nose into the bag & munches on the cat food or when me goes to the chair where Lilly Cat gets to eats & sticks me nose in her food dish & eats up her food. Haves founds outs that I can gets aways with getting a nibble or two of her food & Mom doesn’t know & Mother doesn’t know, but iffen Mother catches me she chase me around the house yellin’ at me & then she pops my backside iffen me gets revenge by peein’ in fronts of her toilet or her sink in her bathroom which me does sometimes cause I gets so doggone mad that me can’t haves any of the kitty food. Mother chases me to the sofa & points & makes me gets up there same ways Meli Mom does & won’t lets me gets down & iffen me snaps or snarls or growls at her then she tells Meli Mom & we gots to plays that stupid Wolf gots your neck doggy got your throat hand thing like dat Dog Whisperer does & we gots to play that thing where Meli Mom haves the mean voice & sez alligator got your jaw and then her hands are on either side of my snout and holds it close loose and iffen me growl Mom gets mad & so we gots to keeps playin’ that darn game & then it’s one hand alligator & two hand alligator & me just hates that stupid doggone darned alligator & wants to bites that alligator hand but me knows better.

I gots careless tonight well this morning & me getting a good mouthful of kitty cat dry food & then it tastes so good & be so yummy (cause Mom starving us to death -- she cuts down on our food sez we both gots chubby & we dids haves the love handles fer a few days boths me & Dion but we don’t haves ‘em no more but Meli Mom still won’t increases our food sez we getting too much people food beggin’ it from Mother & she be a soft touch …) that me hads another snout full and then another & before me knowed it me had ates up Lilly’s little cup of food. Ut oh so me tryin’ to gets aways real fast like & me knocked down her plastic food dish & her cup on the floor & the cup be spinnin’ round & me tried to stops it with me paw but it too late -- Mom done heards it & so me puts my tails ‘tween me legs & rans but it way too late & Mom fussin’ at me & gives me a pop on the backside & it not hurts but mades me mad so me growled & snapped & so Mom hads me downs on the floor faster than ‘ya can sez jack rabbit in the doggy submits position but me in a very rebellious mood so we snapped & snarled &growled again & so Mom mad with me & just fussin’ her fool head off at me. Knows what me dids? Haven’t dones it in a long doggy time but I be so furious cause that cat food good & she upsets with me cause me smackin’ my mouth over it & she grabs me jaw & sez no & pointed that finger & knowed iffen me bites it me in big bad trouble so I lifted my leg up whiles I be in that submit position the sides one nots back & me haves good aim & I peed all over Meli Mom’s leg aimed fer the knee & gots her pants and her leg when she lifted her pants leg just fussin’ at me & oh my dog me be in bad trouble then! Now Mom yellin’ at me & really, really mad & her face turnin’ red cause she mad & that finger just be a shakin’ in my face & we hads to play the put your head back down on that floor game & a little of the alligator gots your jaw. Snort! Don’t snorts at your pawrents cause that be doggy contempt just like aimin’ & peein’! So me be on the time out sofa but leastways it the sofa & not the time out on the kitchen floor. Sigh. Just don’t knows what’s gets into me sometimes….

Free Run! Oh doggy joy!

Gots to run in the fence again fer the first times in over a week! It be dark & they lawn just mowed recent likes and evens Dion be happy that we gots some free run time specially afters bein' cooped up in the house mosts of the day. We gots to run round for what musts have beens a whole hour too! Likes old times and me hads lots of catchin' up to do too sniffin' scents & old places & peein' & markin' me old spots just in cases another doggy comes by or jumps dat back fence again & gets any ideas... Didn't sees our furiend the black labbie Kiley but hopes she be okay since she were so sick too from that bad food. Mom sez she has beens out but just nots that much that she seems to be stayin' in the house in this heat muches more than usual.

Me & Dion just rans & rans & rans & had suches fun doggy wrestlin' & playin' tackle doggy football too! We founds a piece of cardboard all wadded up to plays football with & just rans & grabbed the object whiles Meli Mom & Mother sats on the front porch & cames to checks on us. Didn't even matters when it gots dark! We just kepts playin' & gettin' rids of somes of our pent up energy! Oh joy, just so greats to be ables to runs free without that stupid tie out line! Yes, they be long lines but me & Dion can't wrestles with dem lines on cause we gets tangled up & haves to barks to gets Mom's or Mother's attention to comes & untangles us. We can walks all over the yard with our line the backyard 'cept fer the very back but we haves to be careful when we runs cause sudden likes it snags on something and we haves to jumps back! We hads so muches fun & then Dion almost spoiled it fer us cause she be ready to goes in & me nowheres near ready to goes in, but Mom sez it be time when Dion gots outs of the fence & runs ups to her & wags her tail. Me were a good boy & just waited at the gate afters Dion gots out cause me nots gonna gets in no more trouble fer jumpin' the fence! Me hopes Mom takes it as a sign that she can lets us go backs to the fence maybe once a day at leasts & plays cause just misses free run time!

Sorry our furiends we talks into goin' to de party with us but 'ya gots to understands sometimes that happen on Dogster on events though this one nots be so crowded as others where it be hard to post & don't understands cause Bailey & Duncan's wedding be easier to gets a post in thans dis party fer Robin Hood & wishes other furs what's be havin' problems coulds have gots in cause knowed it woulda been a great party iffen all who wants in gots in. Knows we joined de group & so dids our furiends thinkin' backs on furs havin' problems 'fore when they not be group members & they sets the group fer open & it nots work -- sometimes gots to be dones so far in advance to takes is what's someones sez at another group but don't knows that dat be it. Sigh. We tried & we knows 'ya sez 'ya still gonna goes to the Kitthaven Estates big birthday bash fer Beckham & we just knows dat gonna be a great pool party and be better on the postin' problems by then specially sinces we gonna contacts Dogster & Catster & lets 'em know we & our furiends sez they gonna does the same & lets 'em knows there were a problem. So disappointin' whens 'ya looks forward to an event all week and it turn out a bust fer YOU that way. Now others hads a good time and glads they did & that Robin Hood hads some that's could celebrates his woofday with him. Yeah me be already in costume on the second pic on the page fer the party cause we hads such troubles twice goin' to parties that we puts 'em all in the same place 'cept we gots to makes sure Caelian goes to the top first pic tomorrow some times cause his peoples where he be stayin' sez he mights be late he & Thomasina so her pic already at the tops of her page! We couldn't finds our pics cause they be in all different places fer the pool party in all different orders on our page & so gots to waits fer 'em to loads so we could re-orders 'em numbers wise and that be how in virtual world 'ya changes fer a pool party or a dinner or weddin' or costume party or whatever. On Saturday Robin Hood a group furiend from Fancypants Cafe gonna haves his WoofDay party @ Dogster Junction and it gonna be a greats Science Fiction themed party so we all gonna be in costume! Me gonna be the big tall & hairy Wookie Chewbacca from Star Wars and Dion The CatDog me girlfuriend dog gonna be Princess Leah from Star Wars makin' Chewie and Princess Leah boyfuriend & girlfuriend fer the day! Me pic all ready to go so that we can just jumps into me costume and hits the party! Cheatin' Gamblin' Dog

Mom sez she gonna finds a Wild West Gambler photo fer me or another types of card ones cause that me be a cheater at cards! Huh? What the meain' of that one? Me so doggy bored lately -- we tries to go outsides an iffen it not rainin' it be hot & humid or there be swarms of insects like clouds of bitin' gnats & flies outsides and we missin' our walks since Mom stepped into that ant bed and the bites on her arms and hands healin' up right but the ones on her feets gots infected or somes did & caused her feet to swell. That means we missin' our walks rights now and just gets to goes outsides, so me more doggy bored than Dion! Last night I be tryin' to empties the trash can on the floor and kepts gettin' caught & stopped. Did manage to empty the recyclin' bag of cans & plastic bottles & suches on the floor and were just 'bout to goes thru that good smellin' stuff when in walks both our humans Mother & Meli Mom. Sigh. So bored. So me gots the mail and opened it fer Mom & Mother or was workin' on it but gots caughts. Then they tried to makes us goes outsides but no, mosquitoes outs all over the place and lucky fer us Mom hads just reads 'bout a lady at the Light a Candle site who wents outsides fer ten minutes and gots bits by dozens of mosquitoes and mights haves the West Nile virus now so she said no, she & Mother nots gonna stays out and me & Dion not gonna stays out, but backs insidesgo & we still just so bored.

Then I wents under the table where Mom & Mother gots a few boxes stacked of things they wants to keeps different types things sorted outs from the boxes that they done beens thru and most wents into the trash. What's a great box me gots into! First I ates some greeting cards & didn't gets caught. Mother sez to Meli Mom look at how good Pinto is bein' today with his head resting on his paws under the table. Yeah that because the table cloth hangin' low so they couldn't sees me so me was just havin' greats fun. So next there were these great socks so I ates up ones outs of each of four pairs, puts some great holes in these socks to marks 'em as mine just in cases Dion be thinkin' they her toys. Then founds a rubber topped bottle nice glass bottle so me ates the stopper up and scattered it and 'bout that time Meli Mom noticed that there be little pieces of black rubber strewn all over the floor and mades me move over but me had already founds me next prize and I slides it over under my body with me and acts real cool likes me bein' a good doggy. Laid me head down on me paws and then turned around and stucks me head 'tween my paws and pulled and chewed and pulled and chewed. Every times Mom cames over me slides me prize backs under my body. Then she seens several playing cards outs by my sides and she mades me move and I had done by that time marked me 'bout ten playin' cards and chewed the corners off. I was gettin' good too at slidin' just one card at a time outs of the pack and chewin' on one of the corners or the side. Mom pointed outs that me marked each card in different teeth patterns and places so she sez me be a cheatin' gamblin' dog and sez that me woulds have been shots in the Old West fer markin' up dem cards that ways, sez it reminds her of various pics of dogs playin' cards but that me be a cheatin' card sharp. Then she tooks me pack of cards away. Now Mom iffen me already ruined ten of the cards why can't me still haves the rests of the cards to chews up? 'Ya already saids that 'ya gonna hafta buy a new deck so why nots gives me the pack of cards back? Me whined and carried on and pawed at Mom but she still wouldn't gives backs me new toy the pack of cards. Sigh. Humans be so confusin' and those cards were such a fun toy fer a bored doggy!
