Well the excavator remains stuck and broken in our back yard. It's not going to budge and that's that. Daddy called the rental company and described to them what was going on with the excavator and they said it sounded like a motor issue and that they would send someone out here to "walk" the excavator out. This piece of equipment is very heavy and where it is stuck at probably won't allow a tow truck in to move it. I foresee another day of barking, barking and more barking once the rental people arrive.
I'm off to park my little white behind by the French door windows so I can see everything that happens.
Oh dear, Puffy! Your poor daddy! He really has Murphy's Law working against him! Did the work he started at least help when the storm came?
Daddy used the excavator all day on Saturday and was able to make berms around the house without any problem. Our property had a nice flat area where the house and garage/workshop was to be but the two idiots who were supposed to clear the rocks and stuff out ended up cutting the property so that the steel building people had no option expect to put the buildings lower than what our back yard was now. When the heavy rains come, water run-off from neighboring properties run through our property and became a major problem. Twice this year we got water in the house so something had to be done. The berms that daddy did withstood the heavy rains yesterday but they look terrible. Momma says she is going to plant stuff to hide them.
It's after three in the afternoon and we are still waiting for the rental people to come and get their excavator and hauling trailer. Coco and I are well rested and ready to BARK, BARK, BARK...
