I think I should be insulted because momma updates Coco’s diary more than she does mine. She already let Coco tell you about our trip so I guess I’ll just have to tell you about the important things that happened during our trip.

As you all should know, the heater in the trailer did not work and that was discovered the first night we tried to use it. Luckily for Coco and me we were nestled in bed with momma but during the early hours of the morning all of us woke up shivering so momma tried to cuddle us under the covers. Me, I was in heaven as I love to be under the covers with momma, but Coco usually hates being covered but not this time - BOL.

Anyhow, enough about the stupid heater, my biggest challenge during this trip was the stairs that lead up to the inside of the trailer. For those of you like Destiny or Chance who were born with long, beautiful legs, those steps would not be an issue. However for someone like me who has short little legs plus limited use of one leg due to my spinal injury, those steps could have been a gazillion feet apart. I didn’t like it when momma went inside the trailer and left me outside as I always follow momma but when she didn’t pick me up and put me in the trailer I was stuck outside, or so it looked.

Turns out I’m a very resourceful guy and after trying to clime those steep stairs I managed to do just that on several occasions. That’s right pups, I put my desire to be with my momma above my physical limitations and tried and tried until I found a way to get up those stairs. You should have heard momma cheering me on – BOL.

Our property is over five acres and momma was busy hanging NO TRESSPASSING sign on the fence that daddy has put up. Coco came part of the way but her hind leg was still bothering her so she decided not to walk all the way around the property with momma and me. I had a great time following momma and being her little shadow.

I also had fun barking at all of the people who came onto our property to see daddy. Every time someone drove onto our property Coco and I would go running up to the car and start barking our little heads off. Momma would be right behind us telling everyone DON”T PET THE DOGS; THEY BITE!!!! I can’t thank momma enough for helping to instill fear in everyone for me – BOL, BOL. She was like a crazy person warning everyone to be afraid of us. Come one, we’re noisy but vicious? Okay, maybe I do on occasions snap at people and have been accused of biting the one realtor on her foot, but DNA evidence was never taken so who can verify if that actuation was correct? In any event, no one ever saw any blood so how hard could the bite have been, if there had been a bite? I admit that I do not like strangers to reach out and try to pet me but I think it’s time for momma to relax a bit and stop making it seem like we are mean and nasty.

I really did have a nice trip to New Mexico and enjoyed walking around sniffing at all the new smells.

First off Puff, good job on the stairs.
Secondly, glad you had a fun trip even if it was brr.
Lastly, standing your ground with a good bark is perfectly acceptable.
Word of advice, if you go for the feet with a nip, always follow it up with a lick. If that is too hard to swallow, give the cute look.
Works. Every. Time.

Good job with the stairs! They are kinda hard - the first time I had to go down them, I was freaked out!

those stairs are brutal, I used to have to deal with them too, but they built new wood steps now. Glad you had a good time

Those stairs look like they have metal bumpy things on them. That makes them even more Dangerous! Good job on climbing those things!
Over five acres? You are gonna need a four-wheeler to run security around your place. Or a pony.

Good job on the stairs and keepin' close to your momma! And your momma is buildin' a reputation fur you pups! If it is known there is terrifyin' pups at your place there will be less actual security duty fur you and Coco!

Puff, my HERO!GOOD JOB ON THOSE STAIRS.... I looked there is alot of distance between them...Sounded like great FUN following Mom around your spacious property....As for your barking alert system.... I do that too! No one is coming up to our house without me alerting my people.....That includes cattle who get out and think the house yard is open prairie.......NOT!!!!! You bite? I don't believe it! We've never had a biter here...but Gma tells all those uninvited pests that we do....Keeps them on the Steps and not in the house... More likely,I'd lick their face off....
BTW- I got the beautiful P-card last night when Gpa brought the mail....thank you....kisses,mazy
