I was up on the big bed taking the required Saturday afternoon siesta, minding my own business and certainly not bothering anyone when suddenly Simba Blue, my kitty sibling jumped up on the bed. He stepped around Coco who was lying at the foot of the bed, walked over to momma who was sitting at the head of the bed and then positioned himself right between momma and me.

Okay, I was not happy but at the same time I was accepting and put my head back down on the bed to go back to sleep.

My eyes weren’t even shut for five minutes when I felt something sticking me in my behind. I lifted my head and looked behind me and there that crazy ole cat was grinning at me as happy as could be. His left front paw was extended outward so he could claw my butt.

There wasn’t anything I could do to Simba with momma sitting right there so once again I laid my head back down on the bed and started to go back to sleep. I’m telling you Simba was taunting me because he smacked me on my rear end again but this time I jumped up and went after him. That’s right, this motion challenged LWD sprung up as fast as I was able and took off after him. Simba jumped up and off the bed and finally left me in peace.

Sometimes you just have to make sure those bullies know that they can’t bully you around.

I would take a butt swatting any day from my cats. If they have anything to do with me they insist on smacking me in the face with their claws...and I can't paw them back or I get in trouble. I really feel that even though I love kitties, that they get away with way to darn much. Seriously if I did what they did I would be in hot water.
