Puff the wonderful
11/09/11 Coco, guess who is one of the Daily Diary picks of- the day?November 9th 2011 5:00 am[ View A Comments (14) ]
Happy good morning to you puparoos,
Condogulations Puffy! And I feel your pain with the snow. It hasn't snowed here yet but it'll be here soon. Mommy already has our coats ready since Destiny and I don't have very thick coats. We don't need to wear them every day but if it's a snowin, put my coat on woman! Puff, I know how your momma feels about driving in snow. My momma is the same way, but once you get used to it, it is ok. I think you need a nice warm jacket once you move and maybe some boots and a scarf to complete the outfit and to keep you warm. Congrats on being a Diary pick today!! I do not like the snow either as Mom doesn't either anymore, what was the choice for moving to New Mexico? just curious, Mom would love to move someday too. Congrats to you on your DDP and to Cooper too!! Puff is that you again on the DDP channel? Congrats. When the paw degrees temperature is cold enough for snow, we all stay inside and Mom hardly drives anywhere. She says it's because her Miata doesn't do well in it, we just think she has no sense of adventure and doesn't know how to BOL. I am surprised that New Mexico has such bad winters. I thought it was supposed to be hot there. We haven't had any snow in Michigan yet--at least not in the lower part of the state...the upper peninsula has more snow and cold than we do here. Mommy went out without a coat yesterday so a husky must need to move to New Mexico. LOL By the way, you could always "make a trail" with either concrete or asphalt for your stoller. It doesn't have to be too long, but at least you could still get your stroller rides...perhaps a circle. Mommy hates driving in snow too, but the snow usually isn't the big problem--it is when the snow turns to ice that it gets bad unless there is a blizzard. The key to Daddy's car broke once and Mommy had to drive to work in a blizzard of about 18 inches to take him another key. The one advantage was that there was her car and about 5 semi trucks on the road. When it gets that bad, most humans tend to stay home. Conwags on the Diary Pick! Keep up the good woofs! My ma is a So. Cal. transplant, too! Although she just moved up to the northern part of the Cali state, it is quite different here both in culture and a bit cooler in weather. Sure you all will adjust. It might take sum time, tho! Demon, where the humans bought property the elevation is slightly above the 7000 foot level, thus snow does occur. It will not be as bad as what occurs on the east cost and maybe snow will be on the ground off and on from November to March. As you drive through New Mexico some areas are desert looking and other areas have tall trees. We will be in an area with the tall trees. Our property is less than one mile from a natural forest so there are bears, deer, antolopes, elks and other wilflife around. Momma likes your idea of putting some smooth areas around the house for the stroller rides! OMD, Puff!! Yu r cotted in da infamus 'Dogster Diawy Pick Time Woop Continuum- Fing'!! (Zoe cameded up wif dat cuz hur fambly r intu da science fikshun stuffs. It r wike Gweek tu my Momma :D) P.S. Puff! Chek out my nu pwofile pichur :D Congrats on the DDP! My momma didn't drive in the snow either and her lived in Boston for 3 years! Hi, Puff! Congrats on being a DDP, today! DDP CONGRATS! Woofs! Keep the snow far away from us...New Mexico is fine...hee-hee...and it is in the 'UP' part of Michigan now...a storm! Ugh! We are not looking forward to the winter, esp now that growlmy has to come home from her work in the dark... Have a great day! Congratulations Puffy! As for the stroller maybe if you put one of those comfy memory foam pillows down you won't notice the bumps. Congrats, Puffy! Congrats on being a diary pick. We're sorry that we missed it on the 9th. I hope that you celebrated in grand style. |
