I’m so excited that the Fourth of July party is shaping up nicely:
Momma promised to have the blow up pool filled with lots of water for those who would like to take a dip in it.
The chickens down the road have accepted the party invitation and said they would see if the turkey wants to come also - HeHeHe.
We will be getting a piñata that will be stuffed with lots of goodies.
There will be a dunking booth and Simba, my kitty brother will be sitting on the seat and we can throw balls to dunk him in the water – I’m really, really looking forward to this.
Simba has also volunteered to play "Tie the Bells on the Kitty’s Tail" with us. It’s a new game I am inventing and it should be lots of fun.
Daddy said the grill would be cleaned and fired up so we could cook our meatz on it.
We can even go on a scavenger hunt to find different types of poop that we can roll around in afterwards.
There will be a DJ spinning records such as “You Ain’t Nothin’ but a Hound Dog”, “Who Let the dogs out”, “Salty Dog”, “Diamond Dogs”, “Hey, Bulldog”, “Walkin the Dog” and “Bird Dog”
We will have lots of tennis balls and Frisbees to play with.
I’m still saving that Brandy so I can spike one of the water dishes but don’t worry about going home afterwards because there will be overnight accommodations for those who choose to spend the night.
Anyhow everyone is welcome.
I am so there!
Let me know what I should bring and I will be there.
I'd love to come, but instead I'm stuck here having to celebrate Bastille Day on the 14th of July. We don't even have chickens in the city (even though the national symbol is a rooster!)
I'll bring some good ole Texas barbeque brisket and some Angus rib-eyes...
but I'll pass on rollin' in the poo-- that is just not my thang...
I's just bring me presence & you's can feed me! How 'bout that?!
Finely, I'm looking forward to trying some Texan barbeque brisket.
Abby and Ebony - Just bring yourselves as we will have more than enough to chomp on. I'm going to ask Coco to sneak out of the house tonight and go to the field where there are some cows and "invite" one or two of the calves to the party too. Imagine fresh steaks, roasts and liver, I can hardly wait. While Coco is gone she might as well stop at the little farm and invite some of the baby goats too. We will have a real good feast. One thing we are not going to serve is TOFU - nope, not going to happen.
