Yesterday a terrible case of animal abuse occurred off the Imperial Highway near a Southern California dog park. Approximately 15 white terrier type dogs were dump out of a van and many were immediately hit by oncoming traffic as they fled for safety.

6 dogs were rescued and taken to the South Bay Pet Adoption Center SPCA in Hawthorne. You should go to the Ceasars way.com web site and see the picture of Carson one of the dogs that was hit by a car(s)- he's so cute and read the full report on this tragic occurrance. How can someone be so cruel?

Apparently there are still some missing dogs out there that were not found after several hours of searching. We are asking St. Francis to please watch out for them and to get them medical treatment and homes.

OMD! How can a human do something like this? Mom used to live by Imperial Highway - not a safe street! Hope they find the other dogs'. This is so sad, so sad. Yes, you and your dogster furiends are fortunate to have good homes - hopefully these ones will find one too!

Mama readed me da story. I don' unnerstans. You mean peeples jus' dumps doggies by da side of da road? Why they do that? Those doggies dinnit efun know "don' go ina street".

I guess I's lucky cuz I goed frum my furmama to my mama. I hopes those doggies finds good furmilies. so sad-puppy sigh.

So sad right? That poor person who did this unspeakable act...what has he gone through in his life to be able to do such a horrible thing? Such sweet looking pochies, our hearts break too.

It's been three days since this incident occurred and there have been no further news reports regarding it. There have been no updates on Carson one of the dogs hit by a car or if the other dogs have been found.

I wanted this to have a happy ending where all the dogs were found and saved but I guess we will never know what actually happend to them.
