Yes, I peed on the carpet today - there, I admitted it. Momma went outside to wash the windows on her car and forgot to put the baby gate up so that I could not leave the sewing room. Daddy had gone into the garage and I panicked looking for my momma. When she came back inside daddy had out the carpet cleaner and was cleaning up my mess. I just can't help myself I knew momma was someplace close by but I couldn't find her so I piddled on the carpet out of frustration. I don't like to be by myself but for some reason I am usually okay as long as I am left in the sewing room and Coco is with me. When I have full run of the house and there are no humans around I take my frustrations out on the carpet. I didn't get punished or yelled at so all is good. Momma says it's a good thing I have such a loveable face because I tend to get away with lots of bad behavior.

Puff.. i fink its called separation anxiety .. i haf it to .. so thats why i go to daycare ...its a maltese trait .. well we will say it is ! BOl !

Are you sure it is separation anxietry? It sounds to me like you are cleaning the human's carpet for them, and you know how little they appreciate our efforts at decorating and cleaning. Don't you clean carpet with liquid?

I can totally relate! I get SA too, but I tend to chew up the shutters or the door moldings BOL!
