Arrival Story: I had had two border collies in the past and we had discussed having a new puppy in the family as the children then aged 7 and 9 were a little scared of dogs. We decided to buy a "yellow" paper, this paper contains sales and wants galore! We went to the supermarket and bought some custard slices and chocolate eclairs to have with a cup of tea whilst looking throught his paper to see if there were any babies for sale locally! We didn't even finish our cakes and cuppa before we were in the car and off to a local farm! We couldn't believe it, it was a large advert, 2 puppies left and local! Well we arrived at the farm... there were his mum and dad (dogs) his mum Susan, quite a yappy little thing and his dad, Tip, HUGE red and white beast but so very gentle. TIP stretched up onto Paul's shoulders and he was taller than him! We couldn't wait to see the puppies! Glen and Nip were the two remaining dogs from the litter. Nip was amazing, so was Glen but there was just comething about Nip that we both recognised and loved and he with us! That was it! Sold. £135.00 - now i'd have paid an absolute fortune. What a dog, beautiful, thoughtful, playful, responsible and so loving. He's just so intelligent and adorable, he speaks and listens and is so well behaved, all of the time. He's not greedy or rude and doesn't beg. He loves the kids, who in return adore him and he knows it. His brother Glen works on the farm now, no doubt Nip would have loved that life too, but he did OK coming to live with us!

Bio: NIP was born at a farm near Hamsterley Forest.
He is a member of the Sheepdog Society.
