It was a restless night. It was past midnight and Quigly and I were already sleeping when we heard a loud noise. Mom was watching TV in the kitchen on a stool and she must have fell asleep and fell off her stool. Yes it sounds funny and it's just the kind of crazy thing that would happen to Mom. But, she wasn't laughing because for some uncanny reason she fell on her ribs. Mom says she remembers falling then immediate pain. Owie, owie, owie. So she's determined that she didn't think she had broken anything but she was in a lot of pain. So we attempted to go to bed. Well then I woke her up by getting sick on the bed - twice. Mom was moving pretty slow but she got us all cleaned up.

Mom called the health line this morning and they told her to ice it and maybe wrap it - and don't cough or laugh. Well that means she can't be around Quigley today because my brother is a real character.

Mom is freaking out about the snow that is supposed to come in today - they're saying 12". She's dreading shoveling with her rib problem.

I got sick again this morning and Mom is still worried. I'm going back in tomorrow for a recheck.

So I'm keeping Mom busy again with blanket washing. Now Mom is wondering if I'm doing this on purpose just so I can have warm blankies out of the dryer.

So Quigley is the only one in perfect health today and he's going to be busy waiting on us hand and foot. That is icing on the cake. I love it.

Jeepers Creepers!
I'm worried about you and your Momma! Are there any neighborhood kids who could use a few extra dollars? Maybe they could do some of the shoveling?? Make sure your Mom STAYS STILL or else her ribs will never heal!!!!
Also, stop throwing up!!!!! It makes the humans very nervous! And, it makes me worry too :(

I hope you all feel better real soon!!!
