Yay, it's the weekend. That means we aren't alone all day. We love to be around the parents. Mom had to get her oil changed this morning and then had chores and a meeting, and then to Grandma's to take her shopping and stuff, but she said she'd be back late afternoon and will be home the rest of the day and most of Sunday. We love having Mom home, but know that Grandma needs her one day on the weekend.

I think Dad will be home today, so even though he stays in his workshop most of the day, there's still someone around who will play with the Quigster and tire him out so I can take my nap today. I get the best sleep when he gets all tuckered out, but he's a light sleeper so I will tread softly so he doesn't wake up and disturb me. He's always on the go and wants me to get involved with all his adventures. I love him dearly but he can be a pain in the rear if you know what I mean.

No sunbeam this morning - it's going to be a rainy day. Good day to snuggle in the blankets.
