Finally Home

It's been quite some time since my last entry, but I have wonderful news...I've found a new home. The great thing is that my new parents are going to take me to training classes where I'll be able to see some of the friends that took care of me. I've been with the rescue group for 4 months. I just want to tell all the others at the rescue that their time will come, they will find new homes too. I also wanted to thank everyone at Operation K9 Rescue for taking wonderful care of me. Lastly, I wanted to thank my foster parents in Northern California for giving me a chance.

Test Drive

1/6/05 Well...I have a family that is interested in me. I may take them for a test drive. They have two chickens, so I'll be the only doggie there. I hope the chickens will play with me like Abigail used to. It would be great to chase and be chased. Anyways, I hope all goes well. Let you know in a couple weeks.

A New Direction

12/23/04 Well, times are better now at the kennels. They've moved me to a quieter side and my new neighbors are great...they're not yappy barkers!!! I'm currently available for adoption at the rescue; actually, I've had some families interested in taking me home but my new guardians didn't feel it would be a perfect fit. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by the new year.

I Want Out!!!

December 12, 2004....Well, I've been at this kennel for more than a week now, and I want out. The people here are nice and they take care of me. The volunteers for the rescue group are nice as well, and take me out once in a while. But I want to be with my foster parents and Abigail. I broke out of my kennel and scaled two six-foot fences to find someone that will drive me back to them....still no takers.

Final Destination: Kennels

December 1, 2004.....I get to the kennels, seems like an ok place. Much like the shelter I was dropped off at but with different dogs. I hope I get cool neighbors, ones that will let me sleep. Well, my foster parents are leaving now, and I don't like it one bit. I should be in the car with them!!! Well, let's give this kennel thing a shot, maybe I'll like it. I just have to remind myself that I'm lucky to have this chance of finding a new home.

Road Trip

December 1,2004.....I am riding down to Southern Califonia with my foster parents this morning to go to the kennels. The kennels will keep me until rescue finds another foster home or better yet, a permanent home, hopefully one with another Abigail (she was fun to play with). I would much rather prefer to stay in Northern California (better weather) but my foster parents can't keep me. At least moving down to SoCal is a better alternative than being euthanized. Will let you know how it is when I get there.
