I drank from the wrong puddle

I am recovering from a bad bacterial infection, Mom was really worried. I drank out of a puddle in my back yard and some nasty bacteria got in my tummy. The dogter vet gave me some antibiotics to get rid of them. Mom gives me yummy peanut butter with the pill so I really love my medicine. I am really lucky Mom noticed right away because I am a real active guy and I don't have any extra fat supply to help when I get sick. My fur sister Sasha Bean (butter bean big butt) didn't get sick but Mom had her checked anyways and Dogter said she gained to much wieght over the winter so she's on a diet. Boy is she mad, she can't lose weight easy even with me helping her run it off. Maybe she needs to find a doggy fat farm ha ha. Really she isn't too fat just 5-8 pounds to lose. Bean says shes just big boned and the vet needs to quit looking at those doggy modeling mags and look at real german shepherd girl dogs.Well we gotto go hold down the couch for our nap and later we may chase some of those rabbbits out of the garden. Christmas and its dangers

Mom got me a new toy for Christmas and I was very excited. I had my toy for only 5 minutes when disaster struck.... a piece of my toy came off and I started to choke. Mom was right there and saved me, she was very angry at the toy manufacturer and e mailed them about the dangerous toy. I am well and thankful but dang it I don't have my toy anymore. Maybe if I look really sad and lay around alot Mom will feel guilty and buy me a replacement that is safe or one that I can eat.
Otherwise I had a great Christmas and had alot of ham and even a few cookies. Grandma got me a new blanket and some treats. She is the best grammy and even though she is scared of me I love her lots.... she has only had little dogs and I am quite a big guy....Grammy will be celebrating her 80 th birthday in January and I will send her a picture of me with my blanket. My Nana came to visit on Christmas and we got alot of treats and hugs from her . I am glad she left that little lhasa apso Scruffy at home, he's not very nice to me and I don't really like him either....I think he has short guys syndrome .We all hope everyone at dogster had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
