My babies!!

Well, this Sat. my babies will be 7 weeks old. Four of the babies are sold, and living with their new parents. And we still have to sell the little black runt! She has an umbilical hernia and everyone got scared. The vet. says that it is nothing to stress about, nothing can be done until she is 6 months old. Hopefully we will find her a good home soon.

Mom has talked to 2 of the the 4 people who have their babies, and they both said that the vet. check went well and they are very pleased. I know that they would!.

Well, I am fine. I am going to get my nails clipped tomorrow, they are very long. I don't like them cut and mom did not want to stress me while I was pregnant, so it has been awhile.

My Babies

Yesterday my babies were 1 week old. They are growing sooo much. I've noticed that they slow down eating quite a bit as they get older. Don't get me wrong I still feed them all the time, but now I get in the bed with mommy and daddy once I feed them and when they cry I jump back down to them. Mommy and daddy's bed is soooo much more comfortable than the box that the babies are in.

Well, I am feeling pretty good. I am tired quite a bit more and I get annoyed easier when Gretchen tries to play with me. She always wants to play and as long as it is in the afternoon I don't mind to play with her. But she wants to try and play in the mornings alot (she gets up before me) so I snap at her. I have been eating alot, I hope it does not affect my figure, I cannot seem to get full. And as always I do drink quite a bit of water. Mommy says that she feels like all she does is fill up our 3 water bowls. One of our water bowls is a miniture toilet that has a 2 liter bottle with all the water in it. That's the best water bowl, it is the coldest water.

I guess I better get going. It is time for my nap.

Babies!!!

Well, early Saturday morning (3:54am to be precise)I had my babies. I had 7 but unfortunately Sat. night I laid on 2.We buried them Sunday. I now have 5 healthy puppies. There are 4 fawn (2 females and 2 males) and 1 Black female.

We went to the vet. today. I needed my check up and the puppies had to have their dew claws removed. I weigh 24 lbs. The vet. said that everyone looks healthy. I cried while my babies were in the back room, and of course they cried for me too.

It's getting warmer outside!!

Well, today is a Saturday...my lazy day! Actually to tell you the truth I have been really lazy lately. During the week when daddy is home with us I stay in the bed until he comes and gets me, to take me outside, at around 1pm. I can't really explain why I have been so lazy lately.
I am really glad that it is finally getting warmer outside. Now all I want for it to do is to stop being so darn stormy and causing all the tornadoes. Right now we live in a trailer(until we build a house in a few years) so just about everytime it storms we have to head to our grandparents house. I am really getting sick of that!
Well, I guess I have wrote enough. I'll write again soon.

It's almost Spring...weather wise!

Well, I know that it is actually Spring but it still feels like winter outside most days. And I really want it to be warm out all the time now.

Yesterday I was bred with my puggy friend A.J. So I will probably be a mommy again in May. But my human mommy says that this is my last litter, it's only my second. She says that she does not want me to have too many litters. The vet. said I am real healthy after have puppies last July and that mommy could go ahead and bred me since she is wanting to get me fixed after the pups are grown.

I think it is all fine, as long as my human mommy and daddy promise not to keep one of my puppies this time. I don't think they will since I am going to have a human brother in August. Thank goodness for that!

One more month...

I am sooo excited. In one more month we well offically live in our own house. Actually it is a trailer for a few years then our own house. Daddy is going to build Gretchen and I a pen....and this spring when Gretchen is fully housebroken they are going to get a doggy door for us to use. They are already getting the property ready to move the trailer in because they are trying to beat the winter. I sure hope they make it!
Mommy told us today that the day we move in, is the day we will get our new lab. brother, Ruger.(that is how our daddy wants to spell his name) And we are also getting a new sissy kitty, we don't know her name yet. She is going to be an outside kitty.
Well, I guess I better go.

My Daughter

Well mom and dad decided to get rid of Tobey to a friend....he needed to be an only dog...he needed lots of attention, well actually all the attention. So they decided to keep one of our pups. We are keeping the black female...she looks like me...her name is Gretchen. She is very playful and she likes to bite everythin gin her way. My puppies will be 6 wks old tomorrow(Sept. 11). We actually only have Gretchen and one of the fawn females left. The other girl is going to her new home tomorrow. The puppies were eating hard food very good, so mom and dad decided that it would be fine for the other 3 to leave Thursday. I kind of miss them but then again I kind of don't.

MOTHERHOOD

Well, as of July 31, 2005 I am the pround parent of 5 pups. I had 3 girls and 2 boys. And the runt looks exactly like me.....solid black. I did extremely well during delivery especially for my first litter. Mom and dad said we cannot keep them so we have to find good homes for them. Mom says that she is going to put there pictures on here hopefully this weekend.

Expecting....

Well at the end of May I came in heat and Mommy and daddy think that I am expecting. If think I am too. We all hope anyway. Tobey Joe is the father if I am. Now mommy and daddy can not call us brother and sister. I'll keep this diary updated as to whether or not I am pregnant.

Spring Time!!!

I am sooo excited that it is Spring Time once again. All the pretty flowers, that I can attack, and the babies of all kinds, that I can try to catch. It's a great time of year. Plus this Spring mommy and daddy are buying us a home, or property anyway, way out in the country so the Tobey, Sugar,Peanut and I will have plenty of room to play without mom having to worry so much. It is going to be great.

In Sept. mommy and daddy are getting married so she has been really busy with that lately. It is a good thing that Sugar is out at our Great G-ma's house because between mom and dad working so much and Tobey and I, I am afraid that Sugar would be in her pen too much.

Last week mommy and daddy took Tobey and I out to grandma's house to play with Lassie, Sidney, and Buster. We had a lot of fun! You see they own 60 acres, with 2 ponds and lots of little creeks, I love to swim. We found out that Tobey loves to swim too. Sidney is a Lab and so everyone was throwing a stick in the pond so she, and Tobey and I, would try and get it. But we(me and Tobey) do not like the deep parts of ponds, only the edges, so when Sidney would come out of the pond with the stick we would try to get it from her. Everyone was laughing.

Mommy is still having a hard time getting Tobey housebroken. He will go potty outside and then come in and hike his leg on the kitchen chair or something. Mommy gets so frustrated, she doesn't understand. Neither do I to tell you the truth. I just did what mommy said because I wanted to make her happy. I know that Tobey wants to make her happy too. So I am asking anyone who reads this, if you can give her any pointers please do so.

Well, I guess I better go. Mommy and I have to get up at 2:30 and well that comes real soon.
