Well mom got me up early yesterday, loaded the car with extra water bottles and gear and off we went to Edmond Oklahoma for the Libertyfest Parade. It is one of the 10 largest parades in the USA.
Well we got there and thank heavens it was cloudy and a good breeze blowing. We did our training at K9University and they invited the Therapy Dogs to join in with them. All in all, we had about 35 dogs there. In the Therapy Dog group we had 9 dogs. We were #50 out of 150 and we finally got started about 9:15. We had our own golf cart loaded with water for us and the humans and the parade was over a mile long. When we would come to a stop or slow down all of us Therapy Dogs would go to the sidelines so the people could pet us!
How kewl is dat! We had our own banner and wow the people would stand up and clap for us. Well, this schnauzer was pretty pooped and I can't even begin to count the steps I took. As soon as we were through, we left and I slept all the way home in the car.

Oh Harley!!

What a great day you had and such an amazing cause! You must have been exhausted, and your Mom must have been soooo proud of you.

You make us schnauzers proud. I can understand now how come you couldn't come to the BBQ. I'll send you a burger as soon as I can!
